Great very remote location with a spectacular view of the alqueva lake. Comfortable bed and a very nice room. Friendly and very helpful staff. From check in to check out everything was great! We particularly loved the dogs (Estrella!) and the very quiet pool area. If you want to relax in the middle of nowhere this is the place to be!

Located right in the middle of the town and castle, very nice place, friendly staff, ample breakfast was included. Cute town that really came to life in the morning hours. Also this town is on one branch of the Camino trail.

Our stay at Amada Moura was amazing. Before arriving, we kept in touch with the host and they were very responsive. Our check in was also very easy and flexible. The room was great, very spacey, very well decorated, we loved some details of how they managed to merge modern decoration with some vintage/historic elements (e.g., the wardrobe, the light switches, etc.). It felt like travelling a bit back in time but at the same time having the comfort of modern times. The bathroom was also beautiful. Everyone was very nice and available. The breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from, very healthy and tasty. The courtyard is such a calm place to relax, with the pool and the lemon tree... it just begs to slow down and enjoy the moment without rushing.

Central to key things I have wanted to see, like ‘Dark Night’. Central to town so dining out was easy The Wi-Fi was awesome I love the music mix of double glazed units and shutter units. Jose the owner was very helpful and polite Spotlessly clean and hearty breakfast I like the back door to the place. It saved me time

Close to a river beach on the Alqueva reservoir. Very quiet village with friendly people. There are two good places to eat, a snack bar near the accommodation and a restaurant called "O Aficionado" which serves very well.

The house is just a few meters from the river beach and has a great pool to enjoy the space! Amieira beach offers excellent boat trips and a unique sunset. The village is relatively close to Monsaraz.

A small, typically Portuguese town, very friendly. Welcoming and smiling people. We were there to participate in orienteering competitions, but we were only in Amieira for the night.

A typical Alentejo village, very friendly inhabitants.

A typical Alentejo village, very friendly inhabitants. It has a café, a reasonable grocery store, and the coffee is very good. The surrounding area is very pleasant, worth visiting... the marina, the beach, the promenade. A very quiet village.

Overall, we liked it, although there was little privacy for those arriving and those staying. When entering or leaving the house, we inevitably see who is on the adjacent terrace, having their meals or even relaxing. Peaceful village and river beach nearby. It's a shame the TV is digital terrestrial television (DTT). It rarely works. Spectacular cleanliness.

Amieira seemed to us more like a place somewhat abandoned by local and national authorities. Almost deserted, with an aging population and no healthcare. There are no distractions, not even a small bar to chat in.
