Wonderful hotel, the location is right in the old town, close to shops, restaurants and University. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The library decor throughout the hotel is amazing. The room spotlessly clean. Convenient pillows, nice towels, all the necessary amenities. Nice breakfast, coffee, tea and cakes with the view throughout a day was a nice and delicious surprise. Did not want to leave, would love to be back. Definitely recommended.

The Hotel has a fabulous rooftop bar that over looks the old city and up to the University. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering local advice and making bookings for us where necessary. The room was well equipped and clean and the location meant that it was a short walk into the old town and up the hill to the university.

I loved everything about this hotel, the size of the hotel, the size of the room, the food in the restaurant, the team the parking space the area around the hotel, the service that was 24/7 I guess, the price the location which is 15 to 20 minutes just outside of the hustle and bustle of Coimbra, the beauty of the hotel everything is so comfortable and beautiful, the people that live around are very nice, there's a bakery that prepares food and a pharmacy and a supermarket just 100 m from the hotel, so if you're looking for something outside the hotel that's close by on foot it's very accessible, there's a big river just 200 m from the hotel where you can go for hiking, everything is amazing about this place really.

I love this hotel because of it is not anonymously renovated. OK there are some things that could a little bit more fresh like the carpet in the corridor, but the atmosphere is so unique. You enter a bygone era and that is rather unique.

This was the best hotel of my vacation! Location perfect a few step from Coimbra station (not Coimbra-B station) Quiet little side street. A short way to the downtown area of Coimbra. Clean room and spacious bathroom. Frendly staff. Breakfast served to the table was a nice surprise. I could come again anytime.

A very peaceful village with a lot of history to discover.

A very peaceful village with a lot of history to discover. There are natural pools open in the summer that delight not only the little ones but also the grown-ups. There is a bar next to them where you can have a refreshing drink. It's worth seeing the spring next to the mill, which is still one of the few in operation.
