The hosts at Casinha Siberiana are exceptionally wonderful. They gave us a tour on arrival and introduced us to their lovely huskies. We immediately felt at home. It is a beautiful area to be in and the house, garden, and pool were gorgeous. We had a great evening spent with the hosts, other guests, and lovely huskies! The breakfast was also great!

An absolute gem in the rough. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Nelia was a fabulous host. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and went out of her way to ensure we felt welcomed.

Character hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Claudia and the owner were very friendly and helpful. There is a village 1km away but for us the hotel had everything we needed. We cooked our own evening meal in the well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided and very tasty.

Communication with the staff was prompt and helpful. Most spoke English, too. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. They even catered for 2 gluten free members of our party. Will stay again.

Unique hotel in an tranquil setting. Simple, practical and original wooden houses with enough space for a family of four. The warm outdoor pool certainly brings joy on colder days too. Our kids loved it here. Would definitely come back one day. Had dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! No other dinner options nearby.

It is in Mêda, on of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, with fields of wines, olives and almond trees. It is a simple, affordable, hotel, not fancy, but has large rooms, with proper duvets that are warm enough in the cold nights, a good breakfast with bread-rolls ham, cheese, and good coffee. The place is clean, staff are friendly and it is located close to a few local restaurants and a pizzeria. In the summer you can swim in the public, outdoor swimming pool, which is located a short stroll from the hotel. The wine in the area is excellent. You can go on walks in the beautiful area or drive to one of the nearby villages. Remember to bring your camera or sketching book!

Jose was the best host we had out of our entire 11 day bike trip to Spain and Portugal . The hospitality he welcomed us with was unmatched and the facilities were 10/10. He went above and beyond with everything we asked for , even booking a restaurant for us in town which didn't disappoint. Finishing off with a delicious breakfast before we left , we couldn't fault anything about our stay !
