Usually pilgrims choose Albergaria a Velha, 5-6km less than here. But I recommend you to spend your 5-6km and stay here. Everything is great here. Whole place is very well equipped with eco-friendly materials or non-disposable items. Room is cozy and I never used this size of bunker bed before. It’s big enough for taking a good sleep. And shower is amazing too. You can’t find anywhere with this price/quality but here. And the pilgrim stamp is one of a kind here. The most unique stamp I’ve ever seen. Dinner was optional with additional charge/(drinks incl.), and it worth. I really enjoyed it and it’s a bummer that I can’t eat too much usually. Host family is very friendly, even the big doggy Felix too. Laundry service is available (extra cost)

There are places that remain in the heart for a long time, even when you have left. This is exactly such a place. Do yourself a favor and come for at least 2 nights (I wish I could have stayed even longer). This place is not for everyone. There is no internet, but there is a hammock over the river, there is no wardrobe in the room, but there is a river where you can bath, paths in the forest, the sound of trees, birdsongs and a lot of magic that is lost in our modern world. One can feel how much work and love has been put into creating it and keeping it alive! This is a magical place. It is for those who appreciate the silence, the beauty of nature and the warmth of human communication. I am grateful that we had the opportunity to spend 2 nights here, my only wish we had stayed longer))))

The place, the people and the animals are amazing. The house is beautiful, you feel that someone put all his heart into it. We felt really comfortable from the beginning, Bruno is a very lovely man, he welcomed us and explained everything and even borrowed us some tools, since we had to fix something on our car. We had a nice little breakfast and some cuddles with the dog and the pig. The showers were really hot, which was also very nice! We would definitely come back here! Thanks a lot for this nice evening/ morning!

we really regret to stay only one night at this wonderful place casa da noquinhas. it is 100% perfect maintained and detailed designed with original furniture that give you a great experience. breakfast and coffee are welldone and more than sufficient. we only recommend to go to the casa and enjoy your stay by yourself. the hosts are very very nice people and we will always remember this place to visit it again during our next stay in great portugal thanxx again monika and eberhard
