Great place, well-located! We stayed for a night during our Rota Vicentina hike and this was a good choice. Our room was amazing, as well as the common space and the facilities. All is freshly renovated but with some old, authentic elements still in place so that gives a very comfortable atmosphere. Our host Claudia was so friendly, she provided us with an elaborate breakfast and we felt warmly welcomed. Would recommend!

I stayed recently in Monte da Galrixa for a break during my once in a life time expedition around the globe. The place is prefect for a retreat like stay with well equipped and maintained apartments. The owners are extremely friendly. There are animals all around that might be hard to spot elsewhere.

We stayed here for 1 night during our hike on the Rota Vincentina, and loved it!!! The caravan is so well-equipped, and one can really feel how it’s been done in a very thoughtful and creative way. The area is peaceful and quiet and yet close to São Teotónio. The hosts (and dogs) are so friendly and attentive, communication was easy and we were offered a pick-up for a small extra fee. Otherwise, it’s about a 30-40 minute walk from the centre of São Teotónio (which we did in the morning sun). We were provided the ingredients for a delicious vegetarian meal to cook ourselves and also a very elaborate breakfast, for an affordable price. We found our whole stay very cozy and comfortable, and would therefore come back and totally recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room’s decor and style were beautiful, with thoughtful touches that made it feel both cozy and elegant. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding felt luxurious. We also loved the peaceful nature surrounding the property—it really added to the overall experience and made it such a relaxing getaway. Our host was also very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

For summer: proximity to the sea, relatively close to...

For summer: proximity to the sea, relatively close to interesting cities to the north and south, but it's most beautiful in spring. Although Portugal isn't exactly known for haute cuisine, you can eat well almost everywhere. Odemira and São Teotónio are more interesting than Boa Vista.
