Beautifully restored old chapel on top of a hill overlooking surrounding fields. Very cosy, modern and well equipped perfect for a family stay. Very comfortable beds and high pressure shower. Relaxing outdoors, and stunning night sky view 'perfect spot to watch summer meteor showers. Rui was the perfect host, very attentive and responsive. 5 min drive to the village and yet extremely quiet area.Highly recomend, will come back for sure.

Very true Alentejo house, very tidy and clean, extremely quiet, absolutely no noise at all, felt like I was far away from mankind, loved it. Only the church bell now and then in the morning ( not through the night) with its lovely sound. Will return, absolutely loved everything in this property. and the owner could not be more friendly and accommodating. Absolutely exceptional !!!!

A stunning Hotel, and location...Wonderful staff, amazing rooms so tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable Bar, lounge and dinning area over look the Montargil Dam reservoir..Lovely outside decked area to enjoy the wide variety of beverages available. Dinner was the the Chef's surprise, so no menu but fantastic local produce, and enjoyed by us all( 7 of us!!)..... Again the breakfast spread amazing.We only stayed 1 night, but will be returning for sure.

Absolutely amazing. What a fantastic conversion. The pool area was fantastic. The whole building was just 🤩. Then the food was delicious. What an awesome place to stay. Also we got complimentary chilled wine chocolate and water for booking with booking.com which was a lovely surprise

Fantastic location. Fire in the fireplace waiting at arrival. The owner gave us eggs from his chickens for breakfast.

Situated in Montargil, Chalet do Lago has a garden and a bar. Guests can enjoy access to a children's playground and to a seasonal outdoor pool.

It's just an amazing place not only the renting of a room. Big farm with lots of space to walk relax, animals. The fire place per chalet is a special touch for an amazing end of day. The chalet inside is amazing, very comfortable and cozy. With car park next to the chalet. Breakfast was taken to the chalet in the morning with all what was necessary for a great start of day. Staff was also amazing
