We loved everything about the apartment: it's big, it's well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the shower is shot, the wifi is great. It can be rather chilly in the evening (we were here in early february), but there are heating systems and enough blankets to make it cozy and warm. As we don't like the busy very touristic locations, this was just perfect for us: quiet but with a shop, restaurants, parking place and the most beautiful beach only a few steps away. Perfect to visit Lagos or the west coast. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We had a great time!

Brand new hotel, stylish fit out, location was great as it was in the centre however not right in the centre that it was noisy, it was very peaceful in fact. Easy walk to the gym, beaches and marina. Loads of great restaurants close by. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. The staff were excellent and can help out with anything you need. The pool was great to laze by after a big day out in the heat. Highly recommend this hotel.

    We enjoyed the variety of restaurants - food and service was good. This is our second visit to Burgau - access is easy until you come to the town itself with narrow streets - but good one way system in place.

    Love it here. Small village away from the bigger places. Coastal walk to Luz, Drive or take the bus into Lagos. Lot's of other lovely places to visit in the vicinity. Golf not far away. About 4 bars and a dozen or so restaurants.

    It was a beautiful stay.

    It was a beautiful stay. Convenient area and access to Lagos. Sunsets are amazing and there are quite a few restaurants to choose for meals. Small grocers are available for essentials and large section of wine. A great spot to visit

    Burgau is a wonderful little fishing village filled with tourists. It has quiet streets and wonderful locals. Would stay in the village by the beach again. Lots of activities to do close by. Would recommend a car.

    Burgau is a small fishing village on the Algarve, about an hour from Faro airport. It is quite unspoilt and has a great beach bar, several good restaurants and a couple of good bars. The coastal walk from the village to Luz is amazing, and access to other places of interest easy by car.

    Newly renovated little house in the middle of nature. Has everything you need for a relaxing vacation - well equipped and very clean. The friendly host let us discover local foods and drinks. Close to several beaches and at walking distance from the charming village Burgau. Ideally located for beautiful hikes on the South coast of Algarve, as well as the West Coast.

    Amazing location with sea views and the sound of the sea falling asleep. Lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Perfect beach nearby less than 2 minutes walk! Flat was well equipped, clean and beds were comfortable and airy rooms. No air con but host provided fans for bedrooms as was over 30 degrees! Will be back!
