Superb location with a terrace overlooking the bay where we would see distant dolphins. HIghly recommend for families as the property is comfortable and has the extras you need like washing machine, larger drying rack, lots of pegs, extra quilts etc.! coffee machine. We had wetsuits so the drying room downstairs was perfect. The village itself has a lovely little harbour, superb free swimming pool (sea water) with great little burger bar, kids loved it. Within very easy reach of the main whale watching town Lajes. Walter the host was a very kind and attentive host who showed us down to the pool on arrival. Pico and this property have been wonderful !

This is the perfect place to stay! Enjoy silence, the well equipped house and very friendly hosts! Beautiful hiking trails are directly around the house and on the way there from Madalena we had a great roadtrip along the scenic road along the lakes to the east of Pico. That we could enjoy evening sun on the upper terrace didn't we expect, but was a wonderful surprise. Even better was just seeing the sunrise from the bedroom :)

A modern, lovingly designed house with great comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view all the way to the sea is magnificent. The location is great and easily accessible by rental car, although a bit remote. Anyone seeking peace and quiet will be in good hands here. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. We felt well looked after from booking to check-out.

apartment is nearly new and really had a lot of thoughts, design and architecture put into it. It had everything you need. The view is fantastic. Definitely recommend to stay there and will return if coming to Azores again.

A lovely little village in a sunny bay with a harbor and a charming supermarket where you could always get the perfect Portuguese coffee. Within walking distance is a fantastic natural swimming pool surrounded by lava rocks. The mountain scenery is simply magnificent. Very welcoming villagers!

The accommodation is certainly exemplary in terms of...

The accommodation is certainly exemplary in terms of location and furnishings (taste, quality), but the hosts are outstanding and far above average! For us (with some experience and comparisons), it's THE place to stay on Pico.

The town is small and peaceful. Very pretty.

The town is small and peaceful. Very pretty. There's a café and a grocery store and little else. It's advisable to book restaurants for lunch or dinner, or plan to do some shopping in the larger nearby towns. The place is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Having a car or motorbike is necessary.
