Everything was just perfect! Nice interior to feel cozy and comfortable even in November, we really appreciated the candles :) Kitchen has everything you need and the Beds are comfortable. The shower has a very nice water pressure and everything is very clean. The location is at a Fajã, and thus a little remote- you need a car to come there but you need a car on São Jorge nonetheless. The host gives you great tips on what to do and is very nice and helpful! If we ever come back to São Jorge, we know where to stay!

The owner was very kind to us because we didn't have the car so she picked us up in the evening after the trip by ferry so it was easy and cheap to reach the place! The house was perfect with a complete kitchen where to cook (without a car it is quite difficult to go to the city for dinner, more or less 31 minutes by walking in a street where there are only cars). Everything was perfect during our stay!

This place is amazing. The second you enter the place you feel like home. It is spotlessly clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the room is very cozy. Everyone is extremely helpful and kind and tell you great places to go. Parking on the side of the building is possible or at a parking spot 2 minutes away by foot. The kitchen is super clean and extremely well equipped. There are eggs, fruits, cookies, tea and coffee waiting for every guest. Every room has its own cupboard to store stuff and numbers to mark belongings for the fridge. The garden and Terrasse are so beautiful and the view of the sea and Pico makes every meal special. We would 100% recommend staying there and would definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay on the Azores special!

A pretty little town, well-located for hiking, with magnificent natural pools for cooling off. Car rental is very complicated. On the other hand, taxi services are excellent and not particularly expensive compared to renting a car, but you have less independence… Buses are quite infrequent. I would avoid staying at the Azores Youth Hotel during those days…

All the places are beautiful.

All the places are beautiful. The food at the restaurant, Os Amigos, is very good, the service was great, the suggestions provided by the staff were very important, showing concern for the customers. I recommend it. Getting around Calheta, as well as the whole island, is easy; the areas that require more attention are the Fajãs (coastal plains), but don't miss any of them.

The property is absolutely stunning! it’s beautiful with crashing waves on one side, beautiful trails on the other side. A twenty min walk takes one to town and the only coffee plantation in Europe with fresh and tasty espresso. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. it contains wonderfully thoughtful details of a tea garden, lawn chairs, glorious views, and benches to sit and relax or read.

An exceptionally clean hotel in a perfect location, literally 2 minutes walk from a sea swimming area and amenities. Excellent aircon. The breakfast was a buffet with a reasonable selection. The coffee at breakfast is instant but you can pay 80 cent from reception for a really decent espresso which we were happy to do!
