Excellent, well maintained hotel, perfectly positioned opposite the magical village of Piódão. Professional, courteous staff who went the extra mile to fulfil our varying dietary needs. The pool was clean and a great size and temperature for swimming laps. A huge thank you to Alexandra Vieira on reception who kindly arranged our onward transport as we did not have a car and it is impossible to use Bolt/Uber in this area as we discovered!

Exceptional small hotel located in a rustic old village on top of the mountain. Very nice bed and breakfast, with great pool surrounded by garden with beautiful landscaping. The rooms are decorated with vintage furniture and artwork all over the place. Breakfast is good. There is a restaurant which looks very inviting, outside patio seating, and during the day there are plenty of patio and lounge seats with great views of the valley. Very friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel for a stopver in beautiful quaint surroundings.

We were very well receive on the night we arrived, although we had the door code. The location is amazing and its beautiful to have the beautiful river just on our door. The breakfast was perfect, everything delicious and its very pleasent to receive the breakfast at the house.

It is a guest house in an old traiditional stone building covered by beautiful azulejos. A beautiful gigantic camelia tree grows beside it and the woner keeps peapocks. Inside it is full of old nineteenth centrur or oder paintings and arttefacts so it is a nice place for a person like history and victorian-like interior.
