The host is warm and attentive. He gave us the key personally and explained the details of the house. Yes, you need to walk upstairs for rooms but we find no problem to us. Car can be parked outside in a quiet and safe village. Kitchen is fully equipped and the house is just 5 min from highway. We highly recommend others to stay here is you travel to Monsanto and Covila.

This is where we relaxed during our busy trip through Portugal, so relaxing! The property is beautiful and the buildings are outstanding. We were told to use the kitchen as if it were our own and the breakfast that was provided was wonderful. The people were so friendly and we would highly recommend this Quinta!

The house was very comfortable, quiet and beautifully furnished. The garden was amazing and so was the view, even with bad weather. The whole structure, its facilities, pool and garden, is very well kept. I'm looking forward to be back in the summer.

The property is great! Despite being a bit tricky to get to the location, the property is amazing, quiet, perfect for a romantic getaway, a weekend with family or friends! It is a sustainable accommodation perfect for people who are environmentally friendly! The staff is super friendly, always there to help! Expect to be greeted by a huge dog, Gaia, super friendly! And her other friends!

Excellent house to rent.

Excellent house to rent. The house is on three floors so not recommended for people with mobility issues. One bedroom and one washroom on the two upper floors for good privacy. A/c and heat on each floor. Very clean and full kitchen. It is only a couple of minutes from Fundao so we ate there when not eating at the house. We will return here again. The owner is very helpful and not intrusive as he lives offsight. The parking is directly across a small street and free.

It's a pretty village with beautiful views just a short...

It's a pretty village with beautiful views just a short distance away, especially during cherry blossom season. It lies between two mountain ranges, the Serra da Estrela and the Serra da Gardunha. There's a supermarket and a restaurant with good service.

We enjoyed it.

We enjoyed it. Very calm and peaceful area, ideal for relaxing. Spectacular landscapes, we benefited from the cherry blossom season. Close to Fundão and Serra da Estrela, although no snow this year. Typical restaurant nearby with affordable prices, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Very central area and easy to get around.
