Beautiful, clean, modern and welcoming. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. The pool area was great. Lovely location on the coast. Breakfast was amazing as was the restaurant.

This is a beautiful spot! The cottage is perfect, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nearby is a restaurant/bakery that serves amazing food and also a mini market. The town church/center, ocean, and bus stops are all a short walk away too.

Everything was perfect. A real 5 star’ hotel, with excellent services. The staff is very competent, polite and efficient. Rooms are extremely comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was wonderful, with varied products, of excellent quality. It was a wonderful stay - we are looking forward to our next stay!

The location near the airport didn't bother us as we were out exploring the island all day. We loved to come back to our lovely, spotlessly cleaned, decorated with amicable taste apt. which smelled nice. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch each day. Kitchen had everything we needed and beyond including Nespresso machine. The apt. was quiet and had a patio overlooking the horses. Our son took a beginner lesson riding a horse which was a cherry on top! Still talks about his experience and already misses Biscuit. The pool and jacuzzi area are well maintained. The breakfast made of local products was very good. We enjoined our stay thanks to a very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you!

New hotel with lovely design. Modern Azorean which was delightful. The light pink colour of the room was so calming and relaxing with the common areas being welcoming and peaceful. The staff however were the best and most welcoming and accommodating of any we have experienced in our travels. What an exceptional team the hotel has. A true credit to Azorean hospitality and just like a family to us!!

We loved the experience from the moment we stepped into building and were greeted by the lovely staff. We’ve felt taken care of and looked after when some challenges came up. These were solved swiftly and with a kind attitude. The interior design is spot on and great attention to detail has gone into it. The spa is lovely and offers a sanctuary away from the bustling streets. Many thanks for the lovely stay to the whole team. We’d choose this hotel again.

Fantastic staff, all extremely professional and friendly. Our room had a lovely view over the marina/harbour and was very comfortable and a great size. Breakfast was superb, and again, the staff were fantastic.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The indoor pool area is small with loungers on the one side. Many times all loungers were taken. There is a steam room and sauna that were enjoyable when we could get in. The outdoor pool is not heated. We went in but our legs were numb in a very short time. Most pools in Portugal close in September. Nice sitting area in the front lobby. Computer was unplugged and no printer when I went to print our boarding passes. Beautiful trail along the coast to walk and take in nature. No restaurants or shopping within walking distance. Roads don’t have shoulders so dangerous to walk along. Some good restaurants a short cab ride 10 to 15 euros one way. Pineapple plantation tour is free and only 15 euro can ride. A grocery store is a 10 minute walk from the pineapple plantation and a 15 euro cab ride back to Pedro’s do Mar.

There's not much to see or do in Fenais da Luz.

There's not much to see or do in Fenais da Luz. It's a good location for exploring Ponta Delgada and/or Sete Cidades. Fenais da Luz is close to Ribeira Grande, which is also a pleasant place to stay.
