I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare (considering the money). From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled comfort and warmth. The staff at your hotel are truly the heart and soul of the establishment. Their commitment to providing exceptional service was evident in every interaction. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile, they made me feel like a VIP from check-in to check-out. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality! The rooms were nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with every conceivable amenity, they redefine the meaning of comfort. About the breakfast – a delight that set the tone for each day of my stay. It was very efficient breakfast full of fresh Island products. The bathrooms were a marvel in themselves. In conclusion, this hotel has undoubtedly set a new standard for excellence in comfort and hospitality. I cannot recommend it highly enough to fellow travelers seeking an exceptional experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. The attitude of the staff was exceptional, lots of towels, large refrigerator, wide parking place, quiet place, close to grocery shop and some good restaurants. Due to steep reljef it is better to use car to reach town centre.

What a perfect place. 10/10 recommend. If and when we go to Sao Miguel again we will be staying here. The suite exceeded all expectations- spacious bedroom, bathroom and living/ dining/ kitchen prep area with all amenities necessary. Super professional, detailed, friendly, accessible and experienced host Monique. The guide book and recommendations were brilliant and super useful. Breakfast was delicious (addictive… I miss it already) and well worth it. The location is quaint and quiet with fantastic access to a beautiful part of the island which is much less busy/ touristy. The place is stunning and historical. We visited in January, the room was comfortable, nice and warm - which is hard to come by (especially in older architecture in Portugal - let me tell you!).

We had the best stay at villa Anna Splendid. It exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Alexey and Anna made us feel completely at home. They were warm, friendly, and always available if we needed anything — thanks to them, we never went without a single thing. The villa is gorgeous inside and out. We saw the best sunsets of our lives from there. The facilities were great: the infinity pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed (and more), and the private sauna was such a treat. It was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Perfect place to unwind.

Very quiet location, apartment had everything you need for a weeks stay.supermarkets/ airport 5 minutes away. Spotless apartment,also provided washing liquid for machine and shampoo etc. Marcia kept in touch to see we were ok. Definetly reccomend.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

BLACK MOULD AND DAMP IN PROPERTY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

BLACK MOULD AND DAMP IN PROPERTY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. As soon as you walk into the property, there is a VERY strong smell of damp/mould. It meant I couldn't sleep properly for the 2 nights we were there and I actually had breathing problems for days afterwards. There was a huge dehumidifier in the kitchen and it had also recently been re-painted so the owners know of this issue and still are accepting paying customers, which is terrible as it's a health hazard! We let the reception know and what they offered as an alternative accommodation was not relative. Also we only had 3 days on the island so didn't have time to be researching alternative places to stay. It was the morning so we'd opened all the doors to get rid of the smell. At night when all doors and windows were closed, the smell was unbearable and we felt trapped and unsafe. I would NOT recommend staying in this property at all. Anything positive about the property is negated by the black mould and smell of the property.
