An absolutely incredible place to stay! The location is amazing, the room I stayed in was large and beautiful, very clean and the staff (Marta and mum) were the most helpful people you could wish to meet! Helped my friend to a trip to the hospital when he had an accident! Many thanks! Such a wonderful place!

One of the most hospitable and accommodating hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We arrived early, were offered towels and drinks by the pool and our room was ready for us just 30 min later. As bikepackers we were extremely grateful for the offer to wash our cycling kit. The hotel/room/bathroom are all of the highest standard. Thank you Patricia!

It’s a cool place, passed through on a motorbike adventure, secure parking for bikes inside main complex. Cork chalets are nicely finished, spacious air con etc. would use again.

Beautiful house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees. Very spacious, looks better than the pictures. The pool area is amazing. Luis the handyman was very helpful.

The house is done up in a wonderful way. It has a great layout and a kind interior :) with eye for detail, nice materials and respect for the history of the house! We loved that is felt very local in the middle of the village. The host are super kind and communicative.

Gavião is a small village with about 1,500 inhabitants.

Gavião is a small village with about 1,500 inhabitants. It benefits from the Eco-lagoon and its proximity to places like Alamal and Belver Castle. It has pharmacies, post office, banks, veterinary clinic, health center, central hospital 30 minutes away, supermarkets, opticians, you name it. We recommend the pastry shop 'Ti Pereira' and the restaurant 'O Manel'.

I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend it. A peaceful location, easily accessible, surrounded by nature, and with an excellent restaurant that's a must-visit. Don't miss it! Close to Belver Castle, the soap museum, tapestries, art, and Alamal beach with various water activities.

The journey along the national road to Gavião is diverse and pleasant. Nearby, the Alamal river beach has a stunning setting: the river, the green of its banks, its reflection in the water, the passing train, Belver Castle high above, the walkways…

Gaviao is a small town, in my opinion, without much to offer...

Gaviao is a small town, in my opinion, without much to offer. I especially loved the countryside and the location of the hotel, right on the banks of the Tagus River, with a small beach and a few activities like paddleboats and the option to rent a boat for a trip on the river. It's a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing place.
