Very comfortable, clean, and cozy! We had a wonderful family stay. The kids had a fantastic time, slept well, and stayed warm. Our group of ten—four kids and six adults—found the space perfect for everyone. The bedrooms were a great size, with comfortable beds and pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. We loved dining together, playing board games by the fireplace in the evenings, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The nice sized closets and well kept bathrooms were a bonus. A huge thank you to Joana, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome when we arrived and also in preparation for our arrival!

A calm and well-organized place. It has a beautiful amphitheater (I visited it during the Go Romaria Cultural festival), and a stunning viewpoint overlooking Paixotão. The people are friendly and affable.

Gouveia has a beautiful historic center and good municipal swimming pools to cool off on hot days. The municipality organized the transhumance festival, continuing centuries-old traditions. We enjoyed having dinner at Chocolate e Tu.

A pretty little town with several churches to see, and it's lovely to stroll through its streets, some of which are steep. We didn't find many places to eat in the town center, but we did enjoy the two we found: Bola Branca with its home-style cooking (and reasonable prices) and O Flor with its excellent traditional dishes (kid goat, wild boar, octopus, cod). Overall, the people were very friendly.

It's a very beautiful town with a view of the mountains.

It's a very beautiful town with a view of the mountains. The town of Vinho, where we stayed, is a very welcoming and pleasant place. The people are friendly and helpful. A small swimming pool, a bakery, a small supermarket, and a café were our daily destinations. Very peaceful. I would definitely vacation there again.

Beautiful location near the mountains. Stunning scenery. In Gouveia, it was still a bit quiet, and several restaurants were closed. According to the manager, things weren't coordinated well. (It was also early season.)

A beautiful step back in time! A welcoming and helpful team. We loved the view from our third floor room and enjoyed the evening sights and sounds on the terrace. Private parking, WiFi, and a lift (tick, tick & tick). The continental breakfast was generous and delicious. Some have said the hotel is dated. I think it fits with the town, letting you feel transported back in time. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect!

A very nice hotel in the centre of a small mountain town. Rooms very nice, clean and comfortable, with TV, Wi-Fi and modern facilities. There is a restaurant and bar on site, and garage parking. Breakfast is plentiful. Lots of other bars and restaurants within walking distance. Central for access to mountain roads - perfect for motorcyclists.

Lovely hotel in a lovely town with lovely people. The view of the valleys from window was breathtaking. The room spacious, with comfortable beds and all basic amenities. They serve an excellent breakfast with a smile. Overall highly recommended
