Lovely apartment. Clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay. Nice quiet location with a good view across the valley. There is no wifi. The small town is a bit remote but there is a larger town about 15 mins drive where you can get supplies.

Our stay at the Convento do Seixo was exceptional from the moment of our arrival (thanks, Flavio, from reception, for your dedication and kindness). A perfectly restored former 16th-century convent that preserves its historical essence without sacrificing modern comfort. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and very quiet, making them ideal for unwinding. We also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, which offered views of the surrounding mountains. It is also a Spa where I received a repairing circulatory massage (thanks, Vera, for your skills). The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times, always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant had excellent service (thanks, Cauan, for your attention and patience), well-presented dishes and surprising flavours. Undoubtedly, a place to repeat and recommend. Ideal for a quiet getaway with charm with your partner.

Perfect location, right in front of the municipal garden (with sound of fountain & water), so no noise of cars. Large beautiful rooms with good beds & shower. Kind staff. The check-in is efficient, even without the classic reception. The coffee bar next to it is a wonderful addition for coffee & drinks all day. Close to the bus station, restaurants & shops.

The property is great! Despite being a bit tricky to get to the location, the property is amazing, quiet, perfect for a romantic getaway, a weekend with family or friends! It is a sustainable accommodation perfect for people who are environmentally friendly! The staff is super friendly, always there to help! Expect to be greeted by a huge dog, Gaia, super friendly! And her other friends!

The owner of the property made us feel very welcomed. I liked that the house was very spacious with kitchen-dining area very generous size, well equipped for self catering. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was very good in the shower. The views were amazing, enjoyed my coffee in the mornings looking at the views of the valley and listening to birds, very peaceful. It is very nice that there's some private garden space to enjoy as well, not just the house. Walking distance to the river.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ana’s place was absolutely wonderful. What I liked most about the property were the high-quality linens, the spacious layout, and how incredibly clean and well-kept everything was. It was very comfortable throughout, with amazing views that made the stay even more special. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained and of great quality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had booked a yurt for our one night stay, but it was...

We had booked a yurt for our one night stay, but it was quite dark inside for a beautiful day. The site was quiet that night so I asked if we could see one of the cabins. As soon as I saw it, I loved it, not big but beautifully put together and a lovely seating area outside, so we swapped. We didn't regret it. Our hosts were really lovely and welcoming, they recommended a local restaurant which was excellent, we had a lovely quiet night and a good breakfast. I recommend Quinta do Ragal heartily.

Lavacolhos was a village unknown to me.

Lavacolhos was a village unknown to me. I loved visiting it and want to return. Village of the Drums. These drums are some of the most beautiful and pleasant to listen to. I loved the drum festival and the river beach. A grocery store with fresh vegetables and bread would be great.

The river beach, without a doubt the best I've ever been to, with spectacular grass and trees providing shade on the hottest days. The water was clear, transparent, and always flowing.
