We were welcomed amazingly by Marta who then looked after us very nicely throughout our stay. Quinta da Chamine is calm, beautiful, friendly, clean. Lovely outdoor seating areas and large communal sitting room, nicely designed interiors, very comfortable beds, great views, lovely staff. Delicious breakfast and attentive staff. Me and my boyfriend were travelling by bike and they even allowed us to leave our bikes in a locked space.

The location is beautiful, with a relaxing swimming pool, farm animals for educational purposes, cute cats everywhere and good local or handmade food offered for breakfast. A quiet and fresh oasi during the tour of Alentejo's hinterland. Hosts have been super kind and, when I left there my documents by accident, they send them to me without demanding anything in return. Professionals with big hearts!

Exceptional. High quality place. Ideal for a family. There are all the facilities for the kids and the relax of their parents. Two swimming pools. Very quiet area. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The wine is also very good. We will come back.

Was very positively impressed with Solar dos Frades. The room was wonderful modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Inês the host was extremely helpful and available at any time, other staff also very nice. The outside pool and jacuzzi space is amazing, just sorry I hadnt more time to stay.

We loved our stay at this place! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of things for kids to play with and enjoy. The space is big and comfortable — we were able to park one car inside the property and another right in front of the door without any problem. The village where the house is located is very calm and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and kind, always attentive and very nice with us. We highly recommend it, especially for those traveling with children.

The host was amazing, so helpful! And everything one could possibly need was available. A welcome bottle of wine was a lovely surprise too - we enjoyed the attention to detail and the spacious kitchen and living area. Cute yard to sit outside too.

We really liked the place, the location, and the peace and...

We really liked the place, the location, and the peace and quiet it provides! The hosts were very friendly, as was the giant Luz! A fantastic Great Dane, and we must always mention the 3 fantastic little donkeys who were always present and very sweet! WE RECOMMEND IT!

Horrible experience with the host.

Horrible experience with the host. He changed the reserved house and then went through my personal belongings without me being present. He even tried to blame me for the situation. I was with my two daughters who had to witness this whole surreal situation! HORRIBLE!
