Arrived mid afternoon travelling south. The house was perfectly placed 5 mins from the motorway. Lovely, interesting lady owner, with neither of us speaking the other's language, no problem. very clean, lovely breakfast. Couldn,t ask for more.

Very peaceful location with easy access whether you want to be heading in the direction of Lisbon or Santarem/Almeirim etc. There is no traffic noise. The garden is private and the pool a perfect little oasis to decompress. We only used one bed, but the mattress was firm and sleep was easy. Bed linen crisp and fresh. There are three coffee machines, so coffee lovers are definitely catered for LOL. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans and utensils for preparing food, and plenty of space to do so. On a personal note I loved that the cooking knives were all very sharp. A dull knife is a bane of mine.

Rooms have had a refresh since the images on here were taken and are well decorated. Very warm welcome at reception and an easy to navigate hotel. Comfy bed and quiet location. Would happily use again when in the area.

Location was perfect for us. We needed to get to a hospital in Lisbon to collect our son who had been injured in a fall and was unable to fly home so it was a stressful situation. The hosts were lovely and the place was beautiful-a peaceful oasis after a very long drive from Santander. Would highly recommend for a longer stay.
