Very friendly, genuine welcome and subsequent service, at reception and in the restaurant. Good sized rooms, good temperature control (we visited in very cold weather, and it was cozy), great shower, comfortable bed.

Very nice little hotel in the middle of old town at the small harbour. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms very very nice and the atmosphere of the hotel was great. Breakfast was very good, great selection.

I loved everything about this hotel, the size of the hotel, the size of the room, the food in the restaurant, the team the parking space the area around the hotel, the service that was 24/7 I guess, the price the location which is 15 to 20 minutes just outside of the hustle and bustle of Coimbra, the beauty of the hotel everything is so comfortable and beautiful, the people that live around are very nice, there's a bakery that prepares food and a pharmacy and a supermarket just 100 m from the hotel, so if you're looking for something outside the hotel that's close by on foot it's very accessible, there's a big river just 200 m from the hotel where you can go for hiking, everything is amazing about this place really.

The location was excellent - right on the sea front. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant including storing our bicycles securely for us. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with a fantastic selection of food. Beds were comfy and room was large and airy with a nice balcony with sea view

God location. Reception anc restaurant staff were amazing (my phone got wet on a cycle and they could not have been more helpful. The wonderful people in the restaurant gave me a bag of rice to dry it out.) great steak too ! And room had a bath, microwave and sink. Home from home.

A peaceful village with clear and well-preserved traces of its historical past, most notably the spectacular castle. The gastronomy is excellent, including the sweets. The surrounding landscape is perfect for walking or cycling.

Historic town center. Quaint little bistros and restaurants. Delicious food. Excellent value for money. No fast food anywhere. Everything is still truly handmade, and the service is superb. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. A wonderful historical atmosphere combined with nature. An important castle complex. Very green – ideal for relaxing.
