This family run hotel is the best experience we have had in Portugal. It was super nice and cozy. The accomodation was clean and the hosts were very kind. We even got a bottle of wine and water as a present. It is located near to the sandy and beautiful Alqueiva lake. The rooms are large enough and comfortable.

Passagem do Sol is a very welcoming place to stay . Lovely town, we walked a lot, nice parks, friendly people, nice places to eat especially O barranquenho. Ideal town for exploring and for a trip to Alqueva dam.

Beautiful old building close to the centre of town. The old features had been retained and incorporated into the hotel which made it very characterful. Huge rooms that were very comfortable.
