Welcoming and helpful hosts. Nicely decorated place in a historic family house. I would like to come back during the summer to enjoy the nice outside area and swimming pool. The bed was comfortable and the room had an AC so no problems with cold during our stay. Good options of restaurants in the village nearby.

Very quiet quaint little cottage, nicely laid out with everything required.. open plan kitchen/lounge area for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Not far from pedrogáo grande for all your shopping needs or restaurants to eat out, N2 stop pizzaria 5 minutes away along the iconic N2, plenty of camping space with facilities included. A beautiful setting. Idyllic and a wonderful getaway in the midsts of authentic portugal. The welcome was so friendly and though the lady with the key didnt speak English (and my Portuguese is limited) she couldn't be more kind and even brought us fruit from her garden. We felt so at home. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds very comfy. The living room/ kitchen is also a good size with everything you need for a stay. The shower was a lovely power shower & I appreciated the solar powered hot water. Be careful it is very hot !!! The house wasnt though and despite no air conditioning even in temperatures of 38 degrees the house was still cool and airy. Serta is a lovely town with restaurant's and bars and a beautiful river to enjoy. You definitely need a car and if you want to branch out to visit places you need to be prepared for a drive but the roads are empty and the tolls (if you want to go the direct route) are very reasonable. An fantastic stay in a lovely house. Can't recommend it enough.

What a find. Out in the middle of nowhere, it was great. Great hotel, good parking. However, in the middle of nowhere, so you have to eat in hotel. We got there at 1730 to be told we cannot eat there as no room in restaurant. With some persuasion, the 'head of catering' got us in, so we could eat. Book a table in advance or don't go. Room was fabulous as was the swimming pool with incredible views. We would definitely go again as long as we can book a table. Next time we will stay longer, it's that good.

Good location, for us anyway. Room 7 was huge and more than adequately appointed. This was a quick, on the day, booking and everything went as smooth as I could have wished. Be aware there is no restaurant (or bar as such) but drinks and snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Exceptionally clean in the hotel and very quiet at night.

Large, light and clean room. Comfortable bed and very well presented. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. The host speaks perfect English and I enjoyed chatting with him about Portuguese culture and finding out more about the country. The best value hotel of my trip.

The hotel is beautiful, lovely rooms and our hosts were so sweet and accommodating. We loved the pool after a hot day touring on motorbikes. Such stunning decor. Great breakfast too!
