Character hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Claudia and the owner were very friendly and helpful. There is a village 1km away but for us the hotel had everything we needed. We cooked our own evening meal in the well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided and very tasty.

We selected this hotel primarily for the thermal bath, but it showed to be an excellent, quiet stay with a large room, comfy beds, spcious bathroom, very good breakfast and dinner, and nice personnel ! We will definitely come back to experience this once more.

It is in Mêda, on of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, with fields of wines, olives and almond trees. It is a simple, affordable, hotel, not fancy, but has large rooms, with proper duvets that are warm enough in the cold nights, a good breakfast with bread-rolls ham, cheese, and good coffee. The place is clean, staff are friendly and it is located close to a few local restaurants and a pizzeria. In the summer you can swim in the public, outdoor swimming pool, which is located a short stroll from the hotel. The wine in the area is excellent. You can go on walks in the beautiful area or drive to one of the nearby villages. Remember to bring your camera or sketching book!

The owners live in one of the houses, a very friendly and helpful couple. the construction of the houses is quite recent and they offer comfort conditions (example air conditioning) We really enjoyed the days we spent at the house, allowing us to get to know Marialva, one of the 12 historic villages in Portugal, as well as other locations/areas in the region (example Foz Côa)
