Beautiful concept in the middle of nature! Staff is very profesional and kind. Rooms are spacious and beautiful! They have a really nice Spa and the bartenders are 10/10 we tried the best Sangria and cocktails ever!

What a perfect place. 10/10 recommend. If and when we go to Sao Miguel again we will be staying here. The suite exceeded all expectations- spacious bedroom, bathroom and living/ dining/ kitchen prep area with all amenities necessary. Super professional, detailed, friendly, accessible and experienced host Monique. The guide book and recommendations were brilliant and super useful. Breakfast was delicious (addictive… I miss it already) and well worth it. The location is quaint and quiet with fantastic access to a beautiful part of the island which is much less busy/ touristy. The place is stunning and historical. We visited in January, the room was comfortable, nice and warm - which is hard to come by (especially in older architecture in Portugal - let me tell you!).

Villa Anna Splendid Sunset Ocean Front is a true paradise on earth. From the very first glance off the terrace, we were left breathless – the ocean stretches endlessly before you, and every evening it transforms into a living canvas of the most magnificent sunsets one could ever imagine. Mornings began with gentle yoga on the terrace, with nothing but the sound of waves and the feeling of a new day being born with fresh energy. A swim in the saltwater pool felt like bathing in the sea itself, yet in complete privacy and comfort. Each day we looked forward to Anna’s breakfast – not just a meal, but an experience prepared with love, setting the tone for the entire day. Alex became our invaluable guide – his tips and advice led us to places and moments we would never have discovered on our own. And then came the evenings… moments when we sank into a lounge chair and simply gazed at the stars as they lit up over the ocean. It was a time of pure peace, harmony, and connection with this magical place. Villa Anna is not just accommodation – it is an experience that etches itself deep into your heart. And it is one of the very few places where we can honestly say: we will most certainly return.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

You can feel like in 17th century original Portuguese villa - all historical equipment is for you to use! It's magical! I felt like Lady Makbet - I would absolutely recommend this to many people for quite nice experience!

We did not book breakfast. The staff was fun and most helpful. The big tub was a treat. The room was comfortable, spacious and yes it was charming! Parking was excellent.

The area around Pilar was engaging.

The area around Pilar was engaging. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming, hiking, and eating. The natural pools at Mosteiros and Ponta Ferraria were great fun and we enjoyed eating dinner with views of the ocean. Visiting the Sete Cidades area was an easy drive. The coastline of rugged volcanic rock cliffs, turquoise seas and rough waves was captivating.
