Alexandra greeted us as if were friends right from the beginning, made us feel at home. The room (for 3) was great, huge and super clean, big washing room too. The breakfast is great, fresh bread, cottage cheese, homemade jams (not too sugary which is awesome), fresh fruits, way more than we could eat. The swimming pool is really nice, salty water, just great after a day exploring other places nearby. We loved it!!!

A beautiful setting. Idyllic and a wonderful getaway in the midsts of authentic portugal. The welcome was so friendly and though the lady with the key didnt speak English (and my Portuguese is limited) she couldn't be more kind and even brought us fruit from her garden. We felt so at home. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds very comfy. The living room/ kitchen is also a good size with everything you need for a stay. The shower was a lovely power shower & I appreciated the solar powered hot water. Be careful it is very hot !!! The house wasnt though and despite no air conditioning even in temperatures of 38 degrees the house was still cool and airy. Serta is a lovely town with restaurant's and bars and a beautiful river to enjoy. You definitely need a car and if you want to branch out to visit places you need to be prepared for a drive but the roads are empty and the tolls (if you want to go the direct route) are very reasonable. An fantastic stay in a lovely house. Can't recommend it enough.

Sertã is in the middle of a vast region, where you can breathe a splendid air and where contact with nature in its many variations is fabulous. From Tomar to Constância, from Proença to Pedrogão(s) and Zêzere [Ah! Dornes], from the many waterfalls and dams... I don't know where else to go. The food is good, the prepared products are natural and the people are very friendly.

Sertã is a town in the center of the country with beautiful river beaches and excellent access and amenities. The gastronomy is excellent, especially the Maranhos, a delicacy that has already gained international recognition. Not to be missed.

This small hotel van stand with the big ones. High standards of the big hotels with cosiness of a small one. Helpful l staff. They did everything they could to resolve a problem with our booking. The rooms offer everything you need with a breakfast worth every penny. The peace and silence around the lovely pool with nice view to the castle... Wonderful.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the town. The rooms are spotless and modern and the bed was super comfy. There's a great breakfast included in the price so it's a no brainer for a stop in Serta. Really good value hotel that exceeded my expectations.
