We booked for 3 nigths in this charming apartment and we were very happy. We loved we had an entire space and had our privacy. The apartment is very welcoming, well lit, clean and very spacious. It's very close to the beach. You can see it from there. Regarding services: It is fully equiped, we could prepare our meals perfectly. We could use the washing machine. And wifi connection was very good. We could also park in front of the appartmen which was very practical. Host: Even though we did not meet, he was very kind and was easy to contact for anything we needed. We liked the welcome instructions and recommendations for activities there in Sesimbra. For sure I would repeat it :)

The ocean is beautiful. Walking into town is safe and there are a number of good places to eat within walking distance. I loved the Döma and the Aloha Cafe. There were good pasteles de nata nearby. My favorite!! I also found excellent gelato.

A nice town, with a moderate-sized beach, a good range of restaurants in all classifications, some historical stuff, and a modern but still cosy atmosphere. Great for a week of leisure, beach, trips into the beautiful natural environment, and all. It is relatively close to Lisbon, but can be a difficult to reach by public transport. (Many routes are possible, depending on your day, time , and preferences.) Just go through it, spend 2 hours on the transfer, enjoy the view, the towns, and locals. We visited (a.o.) 2 great places for dinner: Black Coffee Sical (not just coffee, but also lovely meals and all) BATEL (a bit pricy, but OMG, what a tasty dishes they served us) Enjoy the food and atmosphere of these two contrasting places ! And one surprising hub on the beach promenade: the Gelatomania, an outlet for ice-creams, pancakes, waffles, coffees, and many more indulgences. Always busy, fast staff, and just delicious. Popular among young and old crowd, locals, tourists, families, caring couples, solo travellers, casual friends and thirsty dogs. Just pop by, it will quickly become your daily routine...

Sesimbra is our preterred destination for some days os holidays en Portugal. Good restaurants, tipical city, well maintained and improvement in services. Restaurants like , Filipe, O Velho e o Mar, Hotel Sana restaurant, o Canhão, Praia Mar with good quality sea food. Nice walk to the Sesimbra Castle from the city.

Sesimbra is a rather isolated place (we were there in may) with clean wonderful sea, many restaurants (SoSal was the best for us) where one can enjoy sea view and relax in a cosy atmosphere. Hotel do Mar is perfect if one wants to spend time not seeing many people and just have some real rest.

I enjoyed very much the experience in general! This hotel is located in a square in front of the beach and close to several restaurants and attractions. For being Genius level 3, we got an upgrade to a room with a balcony from the hotel and from booking, so the experience was better than expected! The staff in general were very kind and professional, with personalised service worthy of a 5-star hotel! The room is very clean and comfortable. When I return to Sesimbra, I will definitely go back to Casa da Praca!

Top location, spacious, well equipped, amazing view from the huge balcony, perfect for the family or two couples. The host was amazing from greeting to giving advice on activities and places in Sesimbra, even arranged a massage for us, which we loved. The host was always available should we had any question or request. Definitely choosing to stay at this apartment next time we come to Portugal.

Rooms were lovely and spacious. Although the hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the beach it was downhill all the way but tough walk back. There is a courtesy car you can book slots. Food and drinks in the hotel were reasonably priced.
