The welcome was lovely. The location - extremely quiet with fantastic views and ample on-site outdoor parking with no height restrictions. The rooms were spacious and clean with a huge outdoor terrace area. There was an on-site restaurant and bar. I would recommend both the food and wine as they were both fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the young waiter in the restaurant who couldn't have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and definitely good value for money.

Daniella was a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble and was available to help if needed. The room was exceptional with a beautiful terrace looking over the wonderful landscape. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. There was even an extra room separate from the bedroom to sit comfortably. Can't fault the accommodation at all and a good selection for breakfast with homemade jams and cakes.

It's a beautiful destination.

It's a beautiful destination. A must-see place with thermal springs, and a stroll through the gardens of Vidago Palace is essential. It also boasts several good restaurants serving traditional Portuguese cuisine.

Mrs. Maria and Mr.

Mrs. Maria and Mr. Manuel are very hospitable and always attentive to our well-being during our stay. The wines they produce are of very good quality and I recommend them. The proximity to Chaves is a positive point and it should be visited.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service and very friendly staff, breakfast and lobby bar very good. The worst part was the room with a bathtub but no shower, which is extremely inconvenient, and using the handheld shower requires some practice.

Poor breakfast, scrambled eggs practically raw. Restaurant, wine cellar, and bar of low quality. Raw and cold hamburger. The spa has an entrance fee (€7.50) but we weren't given any information at check-in. Very uncomfortable bed with an extremely soft mattress. However, it was worth it for the fantastic view and the extraordinary building.

Breakfast was OK, with all basic items available, some of the food items needed to be asked separately. It is great to have a dinner service at the location available, as the location of the hotel is rather far away from any nearest food store, restaurant or cafeteria. Friendly and helpful owners.

The place was perfect for a one-night stay during our bike trip. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, as was the bathroom. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the town of Vidago and the Vidago Palace. Many thanks to the person who welcomed us for their kindness and hospitality.
