Lovely, friendly staff and beautiful location next to the park and the river. Great continental breakfast. Easy on street parking. Try the street food place around the corner for lunch and dinner. We stayed here for Golega fair and were able to get Ubers to and from the fair. Rooms are in keeping with the cost, clean and adequate size, no fridge or kettle though. You have to ask at reception for a hairdryer, it was only a short stay so I managed without. Yes the shower head holder is lower down, which seems to be a Portuguese style but you get used to it.

Everything! We went in march so there wasn't many other customers around. Staff was always nice and accommodating, the food omg! We loved the breakfast and dinner at the property. The spa is very pleasant, the garden is big with spots to sit down and relax with drinks. The only downside was that we only booked a weekend instead of a whole week.

Excellent stay all round. Reception staff made an exception for a late check-in as we booked this on our stop over journey before Lisbon and it seems lucky as wasn’t festival season. We were very pleased with our rooms, well equipped and everything to great standards. Beds were super comfortable with nice quality bedding. Lovely shower and good toiletries. The area is very quiet and relaxing at night yet had a close lively italiandian restaurant open till late hours with ample menu and delicious food. Wake up feeling refreshed to a dreamy charming Portuguese lifestyle. Our breakfast experience was great, a decent and generous variety for a buffet with friendly morning staff. Good location and beautiful town to explore. Highly recommend this accommodation and would happily come back.

The house is so beautiful, everything in it! Guests and their needs are thought of with great sensitivity, everything they could possibly need is provided, including plenty of towels and soap. Moreover, if you miss something, just let them know, the owner will do his best for you. He is very cordial, warm and kind. So is his wife, whom I had the opportunity to get to meet. The cleanliness of the rented premises is really exceptional, I am very demanding, everything here was really absolutely perfect! I believe I will be back here again. If only because of the landlord.

I felt at home. The staff is super friendly and really go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. I booked 1 night, ended up staying almost a week. First night in a private room, the other nights in the dorm. Both very clean and nice. As I had to do some remote work it was a very good place to stay longer. I spend my days swimming, working, hiking and enjoying the local food.
