No doubt most amazing place in whole Transfagarasan road. On the edge of Vidraru lake triangle. All hotel is very nice and clean, has free spa for people who stay there. Very delicious food in restaurant. Big separate bar at the entrance lobby with tv. Big terrace with amazing view to the lake. Also there is kayak and boats renting place 100 metres down to the lake (just not worked that day for some reason, thats sad).

We liked everything: the scenery of the villages scattered on the hills, the location itself (which is quite accessible), the house and its facilities, specially the hot tub. Rooms are comfortable and very clean and all you need is at hand, exactly like in the description and the pictures on Booking. Excellent place to stop after driving the Transfagarasan road and exploring Transylvania. Owners were super friendly. Room was clean and air con was strong to combat the heat. The decking facing a apple orchard/farm and all the greens were lovely. There's a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food as well. Would recommend.

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning.

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning. This area contains the southern part of the Transfagarasan mountain pass and there is a lot to see and do here. The scenery is spectacular - it also takes a long time to drive, so make sure that you have enough time. Try and avoid night time driving for animals (bears and dogs), but also for the fact that the road is extremely winding and tiring to drive. You will certainly see bears - the southern part of the road (Highway #7C) is a bear conservation area along Lake Vidraru.

The hotel has very friendly staff making sure that everything is as it should be and is located in a great area to start the ascent on Transfagarasan. You get a chance to see bears from the balcony in total safety. It has clean and equipped rooms.
