Just finished my booking and honestly, I'm already planning my return. The moment I 'checked in' (mentally, at least), I felt like I'd stumbled into a postcard that suddenly decided to offer me a comfy bed and excellent hospitality. The only downside? My suitcase is now severely depressed because it knows it has to leave. If you're looking for a place where 'charming' is an understatement and 'unforgettable' is just the beginning, then you've found your spot. Seriously impressed and highly recommend it

I really liked the studio when I found it on Booking, but now, after 5 days staying there, I adore it! It is located in a charming cottage in the green forest, surrounded by peace and quiet. The studio is absolutely cozy, stylish, clean and comfortable. Every detail is made with exceptional taste and very cleverly. The host is a wonderful person. He gave us valuable advices and we had great, seamless communication with him. Overall, this is an excellent place for the amenities, ambiance and location. My family and I will definitely come back when we have the chance. I will recommend to all my mountain lovers friends! Thanks for the hospitality, Florin! :)

Dan’s apartment is cozy, perfect for a family with 2 children, such as us. What we love most about this place is the private sleigh slope 😁 Every time we come to Azuga it snows and the kids are having a blast in the afternoon 🤩 We usually don’t go twice to a place - this one we picked for 3 years in a row!

Good to visit during ski season. Little to do outside of it. Not to mention the access from Bucharest and even Brasov. Awful traffic all thorough the year. Many hours spent is a standstill queue. Other much better alternatives available.

Azuga is a very quiet resort that is currently in a touristic restoration/rebirth period. At the moment Azuga is not that known and it a lot less busy than Busteni/Predeal/Sinaia. But this tourist city offers a lot of sports-related attractions, cycling (both XC and downhill), hiking, walking outside, ATVs, Motorcycles, skiing in the winter, and others. The trails are not as known as the others but they offer stunning views of the neighboring mountains with easy hikes.

It looked like an abandoned city, unfortunately. You can go to Sorica and take the Gondola that takes you to the mountain plateau. Very beautiful views from there and you can see Bucegi mountains or hike at Baiului Mountains. We loved the food at Casa Azugeana.

If you like the place for yourselves, than Azuga is the...

If you like the place for yourselves, than Azuga is the place to be. It was almost nobody on the streets and the place looked deserted. I could find parking spaces wherever I wanted. It is a good destination if you want peace and quiet. In the summer you will mostly only find the locals there.

Azuga is good for beginners.

Azuga is good for beginners. For advanced skiers, Sinaia is much better. There's a greater chance of natural snow and the slopes are more varied, from red to black runs.

I was there in August.

I was there in August. It is less crowded than the other resorts in the Prahova Valley. Suitable for families, people of all ages who like mountain walks. You can tackle shorter or longer easy trails or the gondola.

ATTENTION-when you write "Hotel Carpat Inn Azuga" Google gives wrong adress and leads you to a totally wrong destination in Brasov, whats more - showing the picture of the hotel in Azuga. So be careful... ☝️ The lady in reception said "its not our fault"... Beside that everything was very good. Hotel is nice płaced, very clean, has big rooms with balcony and beautiful view, breakfast is delicious. Good WiFi, nice workers, close to a few tourist attractions. At least 8/10 :)

Close to the mountains, great location for skiing and hiking! It was easy to get to from the train for a weekend getaway from Bucharest. The restaurant has some great dinner and breakfast options! The room was clean and warm. The bathroom was great, with a warm shower and heated towel rack. Pensiunea Rhein had so much potential to be a peaceful and restorative weekend away, except for some easily avoidable issues...

I liked everything about it! The location is kind of isolated which is nice, the furniture is lovely and the smell of the wood from the inside makes a chill atmosphere! Even though it is very close to the rails, the sound of the train is not too disturbing I loved the hot bath after the ski and also the kitchen outside is heated! The property owners shows us around and made sure we will have a great time!
