Elegance and still, great food, restaurant and peoples. Smoking policy missing and any moment a heavy smoker can seat next to you and destroy the moment. Dedicated smoking areas on terraces and pool areas is a must.

The town has a resort with mineral water that contains sulphuric slots and iodine extremely healing for reumatice and arthritic health problems. I spent all 5 days soaking myself in pools and enjoying the sun.

I haven't been to Govora for many years and I am pleasantly surprised by its transformation. The iodine pool is more than 100% occupied, the central park has been renovated. As much as it is sought after, the pool should be enlarged, possibly even a covered pool for the colder period. The buffet inside the pool is not up to the task at lunchtime, and the hot water pools are used up quickly.

In Govora the only pleasant place is the park with...

In Govora the only pleasant place is the park with waterfalls where you can find a place for recreation, but even here we notice places and buildings that I think the incompetence of the mayor and the city administration gives food for thought. There are no restaurants except at the treatment facilities, the only restaurant is at Cascade, a pleasant place! Breakfast was included in the accommodation price, quite substantial and the staff was friendly!

The resort is no longer what it once was.

The resort is no longer what it once was. It needs a lot of investment. The historic sanatorium is in disrepair. The spa park is however a very beautiful location, a pleasant place for relaxation and exercise. Few dining locations and high prices on the menu. A quiet area, without the classic crowd, clean air.

Govora Baths, a resort with a lot of untapped potential. Many buildings with impressive architecture are degraded, in disrepair. The natural landscape is special, the anthropogenic one leaves much to be desired! The thermal waters invigorate you. Walking in nature charges you with positive energy.

This is a wonderful place. Very comfortable, high quality furniture, but not luxurious. It is our second stay and we hope to come again. Ask for a room with view to the forests. There are, I think, hundreds of different birds in those trees. Just listening to them and breathing that clean air takes all your stress and worries away. There are not many tourists in Govora despite the fact that there are least two top accommodations ( vila Crizantema and the Palace hotel) and a beautiful park next to them.

Staff was professional, prompt and friendly. Hotel is classy, elegant, renovated and clean; a great oasis in the middle of a gorgeous park. Facilities are good and the restaurant food is delicios. Decorations and design were splendid especially during Christmas.
