The owner was one of the nicest people I ever met . She was so helpful,so kind . She called a restaurant and made a reservation for us as we didn't know the area . She made teas for us every morning ( as we don't drink coffee ). She offered to help with anything we needed, even ironed my shirt before we left . The room was absolutely lovely , great TV channels to relax in the evening. The view was amazing and the fresh air the best thing for a holiday. The place is a great mixture of traditional, rustic and comfortable inside . We are very happy we chose Pensiunes Izabel and we would love to go back in our next holiday in Romania. There are a cat and 2 dogs , but they don't bother you ...our 10 years old fell in love with them , so cute and friendly. We totally recommend this place

Well kept cabins with all you need to enjoy good time around mountains and Red lake. It’s in beautiful area, nights are cold (dhaa, it’s in mountains). Cabins have heater and boiler, plus you can have bbq/fire outside.

Very nice place, just past Bicaz Chei Gorge, closer Lacu Rosu. Clean rooms, crispy linnen and white towels. Very nicely set up. Quiet and peaceful.

July and August weekends are too crowded, better to come Monday to Friday on holiday months. The mountain routes are very beautiful, Bicaz and Bicajel gorges are fantastic and there are one or two decent restaurants

Wonderful area. Surrounded by mountains.

Wonderful area. Surrounded by mountains. Right between Bicaz Canyon and Sugau Canyon. Half an hour away from Lacul Rosu and Bicaz Lake. We even took a trip to Durau in the Ceahlau Mountains and Borsec. So much to explore!!!

The accommodation is okay for one or two nights, nothing...

The accommodation is okay for one or two nights, nothing more. Very basic beds, dark rooms, low ceilings. Parking is very narrow. No restaurants or shops nearby.

a good place to do mountain trails. take into account the...

a good place to do mountain trails. take into account the traffic, to the red lake or in the gorge it can be done in 30 minutes. in bicaz chei there is not much to do. a walk through the village takes about 1 hour.
