I saw Google photos prior to arriving and was a bit worried and made the wrong choice - it looked very worn out. In reality, the photos on Booking were more accurate than Google. The room was spacious, in good condition and smelt heavenly. Thermostatic heaters kept us warm at night. The restaurant was simple but good.

The location was amazing right along the Transfagarasan. Parking in front was easy. The host received us and took us to our room. The little balcony was nice to have for a smoker. TV and wifi worked great in the room. There is a shared kitchen with fridge which was a nice extra.

We liked everything about this hotel! Starting from the location at a beautiful lake and the views, to the food and activities available (spa zone, lake boat trip, ATV tour to the forest). We especially want to thank the staff and the reception host that helped us book all the activities and was very attentive to all the requests. This is the best service level we have seen in Romania so far. I highly recommend the hotel and plan to come back again.

A beautiful relaxing location, where we spent the night before traveling the Transfagarasan. Hostess very welcoming. Very clean chalet type accommodation, basic but lovely. There is a kitchen area where you can make yourself refreshments or cook. Atmosphere is very warm and relaxing. Parking available just at the entrance.
