If you want a design and renovated hotel this is not the place for you. I loved the retro and authentic 80s atmosphere, it is located in a unique place with great nature, on the lake, spotlessly clean, with kind staff, nice restaurant and absolute quiet. Be careful what car you go with because it has a 7km dirt rough road.

An excellent hotel situated at the heart of Transfagarasan. The room had everything needed for a solo traveller and a balcony with an amazing view over the nearby landscape. The on-site restaurant served a range of traditional Romanian dishes as well as a well stocked breakfast buffet.

Perfect place for a family stay! The play area in from of the hotel is just perfect for kids, the food is pretty nice and the staff is simply amazing! In particular, the receptionist was of great help to us.
