Everything was very good! Friendly staff, very good room, tasty dinner with good romanian wine, very good breakfast within a nice atmosphere! The hotel is just a 20 Minute walk away from the Casino, Hercules statue and the Apollo/Neptune baths. I really hope that the Herculane project for the restoration of the old beautiful buildings will continue! From the railway station 30 minutes by foot and only about 10 min by car. I hope to come back, very good hôtel !

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Hotel Domogled. It was my first time in Baile Herculane, and I was looking for a quiet, restful place. Hotel Domogled did not disappoint. A lot of the clientele is there to take advantage of the various balneotherapy procedures performed in the onsite clinic. There's also a swimming pool open to all the hotel guests. I had a double room with a balcony on the 4th floor with a gorgeous view of the park in front, flanked by mountains. The room was newly furnished, luminous, quiet, and very clean. The bathroom was in good working order, clean, and big enough not to feel crammed. There is a buffet restaurant on the premises where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. The menu is well selected (mostly Romanian dishes), there is plenty of variety (at least three choices of soups, meats, and side dishes), and the quality of the food is consistently good. My room included breakfast, but after trying their lunch menu once, I had most of my lunches in there, paying separately. Try it once. You might be coming back. The atmosphere is quiet; no loud music, no loud guests, no parties at midnight. The personnel both in the restaurant and at reception are friendly, attentive, polite, and patient.
