Great place to visit.

Great place to visit. Historical buildings and great overall city atmosphere. Very easy to get around but if you want to travel around the city the bus station takes everywhere you want to go. There is bus stations literally everywhere. The castles worth to visit allot of Dacian history that I enjoyed. There are allot of restaurants with local and international cuisine. Very impressed with the Romanian food. Great taste and people were very friendly. I def recommend anyone to visit Deva. You can play football, you can go swimming at resorts, you can go hiking in the mountains, you can bicycle, you can visit museums or have a park visit. Very interesting place. Pensions and small hotels have literally the best services in the EU. I never seen so much diversity and options in any other city like Deva. The standard is very high. Good quality bedding conditions and top customer service. For me Brasov and Deva are the best in Romania.

Deva has everything and more, to make you stay more .

Deva has everything and more, to make you stay more . We loved the history Cetatea Deva, the park, the shoping opportunites, the Aqualand(not modern but the energy was relaxing so we made the most). Deva it is a must to visit .

Deva was a nice city to visit.

Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall. The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very...

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Extremely dirty city.

Extremely dirty city. In the 25 years since I've been there, it seems nothing has changed. The city hall seems to have other priorities besides cleanliness....... As for the fortress. It seems that no employee has ventured higher than the funicular entrance for some time. Some people towards the ex had extremely urgent needs and they fulfilled them on the spot.....

We liked everything from this appartment the moment we stepped in. It has all facilities, is clean and spacious and is ideally located. The outside view from the window and balcony is amazing. The host was very friendly and professional. What I liked also is that there was tea, coffee, clean towels etc. The airconditioning was very welcome during the hot days and there is nice entertainment on tv. Next time we come to Deva definitly staying here again.

We arrived late evening and we were given a code to access the hotel, our key was on the desk with a welcome note advising us of breakfast time. Hotel was clean but in need of updating. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was adequate for a one night stay when travelling.

The jaccuzi was amazing, also the view from the hotel to the fortress. Staff handled requests exceptionally well and the breakfast left no wish unfulfilled. Definitely will book again!
