I believe we have been their first customers, or at least the first ones to leave a review, so we felt the weight of responsibility and tried our best to describe the place. The photos provided by Booking are accurate. First of all, there are two floors, with an apartment on each floor, which was not obvious on Booking. We booked (by chance) apt 2, which happens to be upstairs. The two apartments are very similar, I would say equivalent, and might be confused with one another. Both apartments are very roomy, with a “living section” with a sofa and chairs, and a bedroom with a large bed, without a door to separate. The bathroom is large and very well equipped, featuring two washbasins e a nice shower (shampoo and hairdryer provided). WiFi, air conditioning, a good thick mattress with lots of pillows and two large TV screens complete the room furnishing. Coffee and tea are available for free, while a few extra goodies (chips, nuts and drinks) require the payment of a reasonable fee. Overall, i guess you could define the place as “posh” 😉. On the upper floor there’s also a nice terrace, with table and chairs, overlooking the street. Parking space is available just outside the door. The only inconvenient, and not the host’s fault, is that in 2023 the municipality is renovating the neighborhood, streets and houses, so access to the place may not be easy. I was forgetting … the view of the castle from the bathroom window is spectacular!😁

This was one of the best places we stayed at over the coarse of our 5 week European travels. The room was perfect along with the bathroom. Next door was a restaurant with excellent food. If I was in the area again this would be the first place I would look at to stay.
