We came for 'work' but had the opportunity also for some time to be the 'tourist'. This is my second time here but still feels that I should stay longer. The city is very pleasant, and calm so does the people here. The city offers a lot of historical places and parks to visit with excellent choice of transportations to choose from. Charming city located on the far northwest border of Romania...
Charming city located on the far northwest border of Romania. City has been steadily renovated to its old glory in the last 10-15 years. The Black Raven building is a great example of Art Nouveau architecture and has been completely restored. Museums are filled with interesting facts. Churches are magnificent and you will find a mixture of Greco/Roman worship which is representative of the region's two predominant faiths. The synagogue is one of the oldest and largest in the country. The fortress of defence has been restored and the museum is lovely filled with interesting tidbits. The people are very nice and welcoming and always ready to help you find your way. It is extremely clean! Was very impressed by the lack of gum and cigarette butts and the discipline the community shows in maintaining and renovating this little jewel.Guest review byAnonymous

Rooms are nice, big, clean (tip: there is a room with jacuzzi - I can only highly recommend it). Inside the hotel there’s a restaurant, food is just fantastic. On weekends guided by live music. Super breakfast was included. But the stars of this place are the staff! Service is impeccable!!! Nothing is too much, big service with a smile!! The 3 stars should really be 5 stars!!! The apartment is pretty spacious. Some facilities are present, like a coffee machine and an electric kettle (but I've seen apartments that are better equipped). I liked the fact that there were books in the apartment, but most of them were in languages I don't know (they looked like Swedish and Hungarian).
