They have various apartments that are great for families or to spend some time with friends. the first floor apartments they have also terrace on which you can enjoy your breakfast or coffee. The check-in / check-out you do it by yourself, I mean you just enter and leave the house, which surprised me the level of trust. The apartments complex is very close to a supermarket and it has in front and back parking. It is important to mention that also the apartment was warm, as we were in the cold season but it also has AC for summer.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new. The wood industry is the main employer and it is not without controversyy. There is a busy Green Party office in the centre. On the positive side there is full employment which accentuates the underlying friendliness of a place I had visited before when times were not so easy. On my first day I accidentally dropped a small piece of paper from my pocket while walking along the main street. This was spotted by a driver in slow-moving traffic who called out: 'sir you dropped something!' The centre has some nice public buldings and churches and there is a very good restaurant called 'Crema Turm' where I ate twice and which is easy to spot.

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you...

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you need to spend time looking. Check out Mr Binders House and the birthplace of a guy named Carl Filtsch..he was a child prodigy of Chopin but died when he was only 14. Around the corner is a list of local citizens sent off to the Romanian and Russian gulags..never to return. And oddly enough if you are from Australia or from New Zealand there is a cafe in town that makes and sells Pavlova...

Unfortunately we stayed too short. We will definitely come back to visit the places. The city is gorgeous, clean. Very close there is a fast-food where the food portions are generous, at decent prices. The lemonade and the socata were very good, we recommend them. Also here the staff is very kind. Thank you for everything!

The centuries-old Lutheran church was beautiful inside and out, where we could go in and see for 10 lei, and the braver ones could even climb the tower. There are several restaurants in the city center. The city is basically characterized by order and cleanliness. There are supermarkets with a wide range of goods in different parts of the city (Market, Lidl, Penny, Kaufland, etc.)

The city is nothing special - neither pretty nor ugly.

The city is nothing special - neither pretty nor ugly. During rush hour, there is a significant traffic jam in the center. The Vila Ge hotel has the advantage of being located at the very beginning (for me, coming from Hungary) of the famous Transalpina road. I wanted to take this route and I did. Beautiful and unforgettable. I recommend it to everyone and can treat Vila Ge as a base where you can relax and eat well in a nearby restaurant.

The location of the hotel was very good. Should tell you though that you have to drive passed the hotel and turn left in gates to get to the reception. Instead of what looks like the front doors, isn’t, is quite a walk to find it else. Room was very spacious. Beds were super comfy and plenty of good pillows. Bathroom was very big and nicely done out. Restaurants at the back of the hotel was very good. Would recommend

Cordial staff, very comfortable mattresses and pillows, no problems whatsoever with the shower/bathroom, good quality windows with excellent soundproofing (the hotel is near a gas station and a highway bracket, the sound of passing cars was quite loud outside, but almost undetectable from inside), plenty storage, more than decent breakfast, veeery clean.
