Very much liked the property itself, the lake, the walkways,...

Very much liked the property itself, the lake, the walkways, the room. We scheduled a carriage ride with a picnic and it was a great experience. Food was delicious as was the wine and our driver Ionuț a great guide!

It was an enjoyable trip, beautiful park and surroundings, extremely quiet and dark at night, no TV, complete silence. Beware of cold (rooms are very drafty). Spa was lovely, carriage trip less so. Very good restaurant and friendly staff all over the property.

Rooms are great, the outdoor should be really fun with snow...

Rooms are great, the outdoor should be really fun with snow or in the summer but we didnt have that. We did do some lovely walks regardless and they offer some additional activities you can purchase. Their restaurant is the only place to eat around there that I am aware of. There are some sitting places but not a lot

A quiet town.

A quiet town. Very polite children (and adults) who greet you on the street, amazing for some Bucharesters! At a small grocery store in the center, the saleswoman was very kind and helpful. A reformed fortress church, which, unfortunately, we didn't get to visit inside.

Very boring There is no activity nothing.

Very boring There is no activity nothing. Only 1 restaurant with very little food. On booking it says there are 7 restaurants. Nothing true. The cleanliness in the room leaves much to be desired It was terrible. Luckily I took food for the child from home, I had nothing to give him to eat. 1 year

We stayed at Zăbala Estate (Mikes), but Zăbala is a very beautiful, extremely picturesque and clean village. Two sights worth visiting are the Fortified Church of Zăbala (built in the 15th century) and the Wooden Orthodox Church (historical monument, 1828).
