The location, the staff, the food! It has been really a nice staying! It is perfect to be used to see the Akagera National Park which is less than 10 min driving distance

Akagera Guest House is rustic with no frills. They provided a fabulous home cooked meal after Egide took myself and my teenage kids to the market to buy what we wanted for that evening catering for veggie and pescatarian. Super friendly at a great price. Also cannot praise Egide highly enough for sorting everything to visit the National Park the next day with no fuss or bother again at a great price for myself and 3 children. Highly recommend it.

The property was so perfectly located with clear signposts and on the roadside that it was very easy to locate. The staff was amazing especially the receptionist and the rooms were so clean and had all I needed. Not so far from the park at only 28kms and that’s a perfect place for budget travelers.
