That was excellent accommodation with a great ocean view. During the trip we stayed in five different apartments and villas. These apartments are the most clean, new and well equipped, there is a kitchen with everything you need, a washing machine and a dishwasher, a capsule coffee machine. The hosts are very welcoming, willingly told about all the interesting places, food places, and also gave contact to a person with whom we then went on an unforgettable ocean fishing trip. The children were delighted with Alexa (the music station) and the garden around the house with fruit trees. Upon request, the owner was ready to help with the grill, but we did not use it. We paid for breakfast separately and it was always big and different. I highly recommend it for your holiday! Thank you

Mr. Chello the host is very welcoming and knows everything about the island(s). The villas are very complete and comfortable. We even had the pleasure to borrow his sea kayak, and went out on a little adventure. On the last day, mr. Chello surprised us with a very generous homemade traditional Seychelles meal. Unfortunately, my experience on Mahé was far from what I expected. The island simply didn’t leave a positive impression on me. Despite its natural beauty, I found very little that would make me want to return. The overall atmosphere didn’t suit me, and the destination felt overrated compared to many other places I’ve visited around the world. I honestly wouldn’t come back to Mahé, and I wouldn’t choose the Seychelles again as a travel destination.

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We were received by the owners and Ermma. So helpful and welcoming. The air and was so good as was local cusine and we can say we left feeling healed and restored. The inspiration we carry with us. We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I recently stayed at the Laïla Hotel in the Seychelles and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean, and there were many plants everywhere, which made the place look very beautiful and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations, with many tasty options to choose from every day. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would love to visit again.

We absolutely loved his warm hospitality and sense of humour and his cats Black and Blackie adopted us as family from day 1.
