The location is unparalleled, with the resort situated on the island’s most famous and breathtaking beach. The turquoise waters and pristine white sands are a dream come true. We loved the complimentary activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) right on the beach—it was such a wonderful way to connect with the beauty of the Seychelles. Our son’s birthday celebration was truly special, thanks to the resort team’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail. They made the day extraordinary, and our family will treasure those memories forever. The pool is absolutely stunning—its design, cleanliness, and ambiance made it a favorite spot for us to relax during the day. Speaking of relaxation, I had the most amazing massage at the resort’s spa. It was pure bliss! To add to the indulgence, I visited the on-site hair salon and left feeling refreshed and pampered. The resort’s culinary offerings were top-notch, with every meal being a feast of fresh, local flavors presented with care and creativity. The seafood dishes were especially divine! A special thank-you goes to the Concierge team, who went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our stay was perfect. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. Laila Resort isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a destination that defines luxury, relaxation, and impeccable service. Whether you’re seeking adventure, tranquility, or the perfect celebration, this resort delivers beyond expectations. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return! Gorgeous villa located in a picturesque setting, not too far from town and the airport and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk onto the property. With excellent rates, the location boasts very spacious rooms which are well equipped with all essentials and a fantastic view. Beautiful gardens surrounds the two cabanas. Surely can make you feel like you home. The room was lovely, super clean with the most comfortable bed, I have ever slept on !! and OMG love them pillows😍. The bathroom was super clean and we had a great night with the magnificent sea view. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like noon without additional charge. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. I had a wonderful experience with my lovely friends for a weekend and honestly I am so happy we found this place. Took advantage of the downtown location to walk for lunch and have drinks. It was great, all with help of very nice, friendly and professional manager, we felt special from the beginning to the end..Thank you!

Bertrand was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of our stay. He was also kind and willing to provide more help. Breakfast was full of fresh fruits and freshly baked pastry. Unfortunately we could eat much and we couldn't try dinner.

Unfortunately, my experience on Mahé was far from what I expected. The island simply didn’t leave a positive impression on me. Despite its natural beauty, I found very little that would make me want to return. The overall atmosphere didn’t suit me, and the destination felt overrated compared to many other places I’ve visited around the world. I honestly wouldn’t come back to Mahé, and I wouldn’t choose the Seychelles again as a travel destination.

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches...

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

Mahé – A True Paradise Mahé captured our hearts from the very first moment. The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back one day!

Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We were received by the owners and Ermma. So helpful and welcoming. The air and was so good as was local cusine and we can say we left feeling healed and restored. The inspiration we carry with us. We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

Breakfast was the most tastiest of all the places we stayed in Seychelles. In terms of the location was not the best as it could have a better view. We had a room with the pool view and the pool was surrounded by hotel. But overall it had an outstanding design with an African wine. The staff was very polite, everything was very clean and even the pool was heated, which we didn't see in other hotels.

5 Star 🌟 Appartments, great facilities, ideal for family holiday. Hire car is essential if you want to explore Mahe and make the most of the beautiful island. Close to amenities and beach. I would highly recommend staying here as we did twice!! All you would need for the perfect stay on Mahe. It's all the little touches that truly makes Monique the idea host.

Julienne and her whole family are amazing hosts and carrying people with big hearts! We felt like home in their little tropical sanctuary. And they helped us out during our little misery. Would rate 11/10 if possible. If we ever have the pleasure to visit seychelles again we will come by for sure!
