We had absolutely amazing stay at Phoenix apartments. The room was very modern and spacious, the only one with efficient and well working AC we found in Seychelles. The view was fantastic and the best was the swimming pool. We came to this apartment after 3 weeks of active holiday in Seychelles to just stay and chill by the pool. And it was the best decision.

Andy gave us a warm welcome and gave us a great overview of the islands, pointing out the best beaches and places to go. And then when he ushered us in to the room, the view just took our breath away. They'd even kept some food like bread and eggs in the refrigerator to get us started off. We had a wonderful time and hated that we had to leave. Thanks for making our holiday so very memorable.

I spent first and last night at Garden Hut. And it was an excellent choice. Quiet location, close to the bus stop, comfortable room with well equiped kitchen and very nice veranda, surrounded by plants and flowers. But for me the most important is a hospitality of Marlene and David. Thanks to this lovely people my holiday started and ended smoothly.

We never saw that high level of hospitality, cleanliness and friendliness as in this accommodation, from owner to staff! Apartment was sparkling clean, fully equipped even for long stay, perfectly located and you feel like you’re at home from first step. Also, all recommendations and advices from hosts were super helpful. We can’t make bigger recommendation to stay in this amazing place and explore beautiful Mahe! Definitely we will come back again!

The apartment was very nice, bright, and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Bedroom and sitting room have separate aircon units, aircons worked very well. The apartment was large enough to accommodate us with five pieces of large luggage.

Our room opened onto a huge balcony overlooking Victoria, where we had breathtaking views of the entire city, harbor and Praslin and La Digue on the horizon. The house is on a lofty hill in Bel Air, not far from centre (Big Ben!). European style, modern and chic, and huge, actually. And we slept like babies in the huge bed. Our hosts were super friendly and extremely helpful in several cases, from pain relief crème to organizing pizza takeaways for us (no delivery, we used our car to pick it up). The rooms were always cleaned perfectly. We had some breakfast stuff and fruits provided every day, and enough coffee for a perfect moment on our balcony right after daily sunrise. There is also a pool on the premises, and a place to park your car.

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!

We loved the fantastic view and the apartment was new and beautiful and very well equipped. It was also very well and centrally located. It was easy and close to go to beautiful beaches, some supermarkets and good restaurants by car. We were also very nicely welcomed by Stella who gave us good advices about everything we asked and made us Feel very welcomed. We also had a nice chat with the owner. We had a fantastic week!

We are absolutely in love with this place. The atmosphere, the architecture and furniture are simply unforgettable. The view from the hotel is breath-taking, you can see whole city of Victoria, mountains, ocean and other islands. The place is surronded by fruit trees and plams - it's so serene! Staff was helpful and friendly, especially Raj.

The apartment is spacious and offers a stunning view of the ocean, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunrises every morning. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beautiful Fairyland Beach, as well as shops and restaurants. A perfect place to relax and explore the area. Highly recommended!

Accommodation was great, but Victoria is little bit small so we spend there only one day and I can say that we will never go the center in the future. It's definitely better to go to the south / west. However, the apartment was great - big and comfortable.
