We had absolutely amazing stay at Phoenix apartments. The room was very modern and spacious, the only one with efficient and well working AC we found in Seychelles. The view was fantastic and the best was the swimming pool. We came to this apartment after 3 weeks of active holiday in Seychelles to just stay and chill by the pool. And it was the best decision.

Our stay at this location was truly exceptional, offering breathtaking views that we couldn't get enough of. The space was more than ample for our group—two adults and one child—and it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. We felt as though we were staying at a friend's home, with the warmest of welcomes that included refreshing towels and delicious passion fruit drinks. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He provided a brief orientation with a tourist map and personalized recommendations. When we expressed interest in renting a car, he even arranged for a rental company to come directly to the apartment, and within 1-2 hours, the car was ready for us. One of the highlights was the complimentary snorkeling equipment, which we were able to use for several days. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free stay!

First and foremost, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality upon arrival. The check-in process was smooth, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail as we were shown to our room. Speaking of the room, it exceeded all expectations. The decor was tasteful, the cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Marlene and David and their family are such incredible hosts! We even received fresh tropical fruits upon arrival which was awesome, but also the days after. We were invited to traditional Creole Seychelles's diner at their house. And the garden...amaizing with two friendly turtules. We had the pleasure of staying at Garden Hut. I reccomend to everyone :)

We never saw that high level of hospitality, cleanliness and friendliness as in this accommodation, from owner to staff! Apartment was sparkling clean, fully equipped even for long stay, perfectly located and you feel like you’re at home from first step. Also, all recommendations and advices from hosts were super helpful. We can’t make bigger recommendation to stay in this amazing place and explore beautiful Mahe! Definitely we will come back again!

The apartment was very nice, bright, and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. I found the bed to be very comfortable. Bedroom and sitting room have separate aircon units, aircons worked very well. The apartment was large enough to accommodate us with five pieces of large luggage.

Victoria city is a clean and safe city. City start winding down as early as 5pm. Central Market, museum, beaches around, great local and international foods. Easy to navigate the city. Car rental available at good price.

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!

The Residence is good, with a beautiful view to Victoria and sea. The bedroom is very nice, with an excellent balcony. The included breakfast is very good with two different options, with much variety. The optional dinner is good too. The location is good for who have a car or using the BUS (the BUS STOP is at 100m, besides needing to go up to it); but if you want to stay more than two days I think it is preferable to stay in a hotel close to a beach. The staff is friendly; gave us bottles of water. With a reasonable price.

Generally, fine hotel, close to Victoria downtown and to Botanical Gardens – both reachable on foot. Hotel is clean, safe, service is very nice. Breakfast is commendable, too. For those who rent cars, there is convenient parking in the courtyard. The hotel even owns several giant tortoises, so these who wish to see these animals need not to go to other places if they want to see it.

Great value for money. The location is not far from La Misère viewpoint that offers a nice view on Victoria, the islands and the surroundings. The place is located in the middle of a lush vegetation, in the mountain - pure nature! It takes approx. 15 minutes to reach the nearest beach (Grand Anse or Barbarons).
