We enjoyed exploring the wonderful setting where the boys could scramble over rocks and follow the lovely woodland paths. We were especially impressed with our evening meal in the restaurant. We also enjoyed the many games provided like shufl, pool and table tennis. A super stay.

I recently stayed at this beautifully vacation home in Hönö, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the decor to the thoughtful provision of firewood for the fireplace. Waking up each morning to the stunning view of the bridge was definitely a highlight of my stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The house was spotlessly clean, and there truly isn't anything to criticize. This is by far the best vacation home I've ever stayed in! I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Kalvsund is both beautiful and tranquil, and whilst...

Kalvsund is both beautiful and tranquil, and whilst apparently isolated, it is deceptively easy to get to by regular public transport from the centre of Gothenburg. We cannot recommend it highly enough if you are looking for somewhere which is quiet and has stunning scenery. Recommend the ‘Seaside’ restaurant in the adjacent island of Bjorko (see photo) for excellent fish dishes and great staff - we loved it.
