We were very fortunate to check in earlier then 3 o’clock. I had to book a hotel between my flights, lovely Renata who was looking after the hotel in the morning organised a room for me and my two daughters. There is a kitchenette available to make breakfast. We didn’t stay for a night, but I am sure its the best place to stay over for a night close to the airport and price is also reasonable. You do appreciate small family hotels, who care about their guests. Highly recommending. Also a tip if you want to get there preebook a taxi from the airport, if you take one as you go you need to pay 400 crowns for 6 mins drive, precooked is only 180crowns.

Where do I begin? I am a motorcyclist and I have been in hundreds of hotels and B&B, but this has been far by the best. Let me explain. I entered Ekegarden and was later introduced to Tina, the owner. She knocked on my door and walked in with a glass of milk and a Swedish pastry. Who does that! She asked me if I had lunch and offered to drive me to the local Golf course, which I agreed to. "I will pick you up in an hour". Left on my own, I had a wonderful pasta dish with salmon and shrimp. Tina was right. The late lunch was wonderful. Afterwards, she picked me up and drove me back to the Ekegarden. Tina's B&B have wonderful guests and when I had breakfast I met a kind Scot by the name of Allen. We traded history and stories. This is where you meet like minded people. Tina has a wonderful B&B, and she was an incredible host. Love you Tina. Great stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. My best stay in 40,000 kms of motorcyle travel. Bless you Tina! The house is really close to the airport which made it the ideal accommodation for us as we arrived very late at night. The self check-in was quick and efficient, the house (rooms, common areas and sheets were super clean). The breakfast options provided were also very good and varied. The hosts were super reactive and easily reachable through messages. They also made sure that everything was running smoothly and gave us some tips about Gothenburg.

There are not enough words to describe the joy we had during...

There are not enough words to describe the joy we had during these days. Arriving at the premises is already an amazing first contact. Entering the main building, even with the bad weather on day of arrival, but the very very very friendly staff and the view over the lake made the day sunny anyhow, despite nature giving us bad weather. The rooms are great. Every building has its own lounge, with games for all, with a pool table. Here you could relax and eat and drink. But the restaurant is good as well. With a lunch buffet. Fantastic FANTASTIC breakfast. And everytime again, with this amazing view!!! The bathroom looks simple, but the showever is the best we have every occured. I cry from joy and happiness while writing this, and sadness we will leave within an hour. Yes we cleared the room, but still stay here enjoying the, did I mention this before the view, the friendly staff the available food and drinks. It is an experience we will never forget. We will talk about this event with our (grand)children. And we will come back for sure. Thank you Aspenäs Herrgård for giving us this against such a reasonable price. The service you provided us is unmatched. I stop typing now. But we love you.

Beautifully decorated and a quiet location in the countryside. You need a car but it doesn't take long to drive to Lerum. Spacious, open plan living room and kitchen. Nice area to sit outside.
