Extremly nice old castle in the Swedish country side. Nice surroundings and the ideal place to calm down and enjoy nature and outdoor activities. Spa area and jacuzzi available, worth to check this out. Very tasteful and antique furniture, the breakfast room is a kind of a time travel and an experience as well as the very nice hotel enmployees.

Our stay was short but very pleasant. Communication with the owner was easy and quick and he was available to help. the house is very beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. It is partially over the water which allows you to enjoy an incredible view of the lake. the place is very quiet and you only hear the sounds of nature. There is a small canoe available to enjoy the lake. There are no bed sheets or towels (as stated on the website as optional) but there are duvets and blankets if needed. There is no shampoo, soap or shower gel, but all cleaning products and dish detergent are available in the house. We recommend staying at this place and we will certainly come back and repeat.

What a perfect place. We came for one night and immediately realized that we have to come back here again in the future. The owners were lovely and did everything to make us comfortable and pleasant. We slept in the villa and everything was so beautiful and pleasant. The villa is very well equipped and was equipped beyond our expectations. And the view... the view was amazing!

It was clean and comfortable, perfect if you want authentic experience. Right beside canal, it was nice to take walks along side. Söderköping very close. Croceries, cute restaurants and scenic small town walks are very close to the property. It was so nice we decided to prolong our stay. Kids loved it.

Söderköping is an exciting place if you like history. The location is perfect if you are traveling along the east coast. A well-kept small town with access to most things and where the canal with its locks provides a nice setting. Large selection of places to eat.

It's a charming, pretty place.

It's a charming, pretty place. There are many beautiful alleyways and houses to explore. Cycling along the Göta Canal is simply fantastic! There are also great lakes for swimming nearby – easily accessible by bike!

It was so beautiful everywhere, so many nice houses and...

It was so beautiful everywhere, so many nice houses and streets, nice flowers in all the plantings. Yes, it was easy to walk everywhere. We ate well at a Greek restaurant. The church was absolutely amazingly beautiful. Then we went around on the very nice train. We got an idea of the city. Very helpful and nice lady who drove the train. We will probably return to Söderköping soon.

A beautiful city with something for everyone.

A beautiful city with something for everyone. Liveliness and activity by the canal/harbor and a calmer pace if you head to the small squares a bit from Göta Canal. Nice dog walking paths or if you want to go out and walk or run. Can highly recommend Lock, Hop and Barrel Brewery. Delicious American-inspired food and beer from their own microbrewery.

Fantastic and cozy old cultural city with many picturesque small wooden houses and alleys. Beautiful flowers everywhere and very well-kept parks and gardens. Would recommend the church cafe with good sandwiches and waffles. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic environment.

Söderköping is a cozy community but we were so disappointed...

Söderköping is a cozy community but we were so disappointed with Söderköpings Brunn - in the restaurant, its staff and service and in the standard of the room with several broken lamps that we could not fix and a lack of glasses. We looked for tea water at the reception in the evening but it was out at 10 pm. The overall impression was therefore a failure for the accommodation. So unnecessarily bad.

Fabulously restored old-fashioned Swedish house with all modern comforts. Great location just outside of Söderköping. Easy to find. Great hostess. Wonderful views of the landscape. Good breakfast. Perfect for us, and we want to come back.

Helpful hosts! Cosy atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. We brought our own bicycles with us for a nice ride along the Göta kanal. Söderköping has a very town center for a stroll! Free parking close by.
