A fabulous architecturally designed hotel, covered under plants with amazing bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and great food. The breakfast has a fantastic selection of food from all cultures available, a real feast to start with every day and the most kind and helpful staff in the breakfast hall, especially Amy who helped us every day. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Perfectly placed stopover, whether exploring Asia or enroute to Europe. Great for a break with all the amentities, particularly if coming from, or heading to, more rustic conditions in other Asian areas.

Train system very structured and reasonably priced - definitely would recommend purchasing the standard travel card (not Tourist pass) and topping up as required. Make sure to visit Chinatown and Little India and eat in the food halls. Many unique features by the bay - all easily reached via train system. The people are very respectful of older locals and visitors and will give up train seats without hesitation. Be prepared for hot and humid weather in December. The Botanic gardens are incredible and free. A small charge (particularly for seniors) to enter the extensive Tropical orchid gardens. A highlight for us on this trip.

We liked Boat Quay a lot. It was only a 10 minute walk.

We liked Boat Quay a lot. It was only a 10 minute walk. We ate at Tandoori Zaika, a restaurant on Boat Quay. Excellent Indian food. Raju was very nice and helpful. We remembered him from a previous time. We also ate meals from Dallas, very nice place. I would also recommend The Penny Black pub, very English. Good food and drink. It is home to Newcastle United Supporters Club in Singapore. We also went to a new pub around the corner from the hotel called The Craic. An Irish pub. Very friendly staff, a must try. On the riverfront is a bar called SQue. Very friendly staff, can get one for one drinks all day.

Singapore is amazing but very busy and crowded. Visit the Gardens by the Bay but expect lots of people. Must watch a gardens light show!! Visit Santosa Island and take the ride by the cable car. Visit Arab Street. Visit the zoo, night safari!! Changi Shopping Centre. Various hawker centres. Chinatown!!! Little India although not my fave. Taxis amd Uber cheap. Never used MRT. Singaporeans are beautiful people, well mannered and cultured.

It's very comfortable and safe for children and families. Indeed, the prices are a bit high. You need to have extra money to travel comfortably.

QT Singapore is the perfect spot for a stay. It has the charm of a boutique hotel, the quality of a private members' club but the excellence of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are so well thought out from the interior to all the items stocked within the room. A cocktail shaker is on another level of personalisation. I've stayed in so many hotels in Singapore and only the best impress me i.e. Raffles, Capella, Swiss etc and this is definitely the new hotel to add that that list.

This is my 3rd time staying at the Sofitel City Center hotel. I am glad that I chose your hotel for this business trip that last for a week, thanks to the help of your staff team. Over the past two decades, I have stayed at many prestigious hotels in Singapore. Nowadays, the quality of facility and hardware of 4 to 5-star hotels is not very different. What differentiates a hotel from others is the quality of the service which cannot be delivered without great staff.

As with a lot of hotels in a Singapore, they recognise the importance of customer service and the hotel has excellent staff. The decor is plush, modern and user-friendly. The location was fine for where we needed to go, and the room itself was suitably quiet and a decent size. There were no issues, and we would stay there again, especially with the late checkout.
