A beautiful hotel, and the owners and the owner's friend who welcomed us were super nice, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is an eco hotel, has a very nice little spa, and smells wonderful everywhere. The breakfast is small but nice. You have everything you need. There could perhaps be a larger selection of muesli and bacon instead of the small sausages, but the owners made everything themselves. The scrambled eggs were so tasty. Our room was super clean, nicely furnished, and smelled wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony (at the back) was also nice. On the river side. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a smart TV on which you could watch Netflix and the so on. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We had a room with a nice balcony. The big window in the bedroom had mosquito net on, so we could enjoy fresh air withot any mosquitos. The bathroom also had a window with the mosquito net installed, so air in the bathroom was fresh. The bathroom wall had a drying rack for clothes. They put soap, shower gel and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The water in the shower was going down very well without splashing on the bathroom floor. Everything is well designed. The hotel is located almost on the lake, there is a supermarket next to the hotel, and the souvenir shop, with Slovenian honey and beer.

We booked the most basic room type and it was much more spacious and equipped than expected, and very silent (no noise from the corridor or other rooms). We felt very comfortable. The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of options, including some local produce. We didn’t go to the Aquapark (too tired) but we would consider coming back and using it!

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

I love the Julian Alps for their stunning natural beauty. Everything is nearby, and you can choose from waterfalls, gorges, hiking trails, or enjoy water sports on the lake. If you enjoy outdoor activities in nature, this is a perfect destination for you.

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water...

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.

Lake Bohinj and Redcev Laz are beautiful places to stay.

Lake Bohinj and Redcev Laz are beautiful places to stay. Walk around the lake - easy walking most of the way with some tricky rocks at one place. There are benches along the way. Must walk the Mostnica gorge which is best reached from a car park through Stara Furzina. It is really beautiful! Also take the cable car up Mt Vorge, the views are astounding. We took the bus into lake Bled to save the worry of where to park - very cheap bus fare. Found lake bled pretty but more touristy than lake Bohinj, less natural. The final trip you must make is to Vintgar gorge. Park for free in the P1 carpark, shuttle bus to the gorge and entry for 15 EUR. Excellent and wonderful scenery. Enjoy!!

This is a place that is about affordable for most people. Accorodingly, you can expect crowds if you get there in high season and, unfortunately, perhaps not the best educated crowd. This can be compensated by the scenic view you have everywhere, literally.

The location of Bohinj is absolutely magical.

The location of Bohinj is absolutely magical. Within walking distance of Lake Behinj and you can also walk to the Savica waterfall, but also to the Slap Mostnica waterfall (the oposite direction of the house). We tried restaurant Gostilna Ema and we don't recommend. Unfortunately we chose this restaurant over a local restaurant on the last day before departure and it was a mistake. The staff was nice but the selection of food was small and it didn't taste very good.

Best breakfast of our entire trip. Bubbly in the morning! The location was perfect to go walking in any direction around the lake. The room was comfortable, clean and the interior design is great. We also did the wine tasting in the hotel and we highly recommend it. Slovenian wine is great. We even had a pillow menu! To choose our preference - brilliant idea in my opinion as pillows are always my biggest gripe in a hotel.

Absolute perfect, one of the restaurants/hotels that really understands the service side. Room was really nice, cozy and clean. Food was superb, best pizza we had in months!! Definitely the best food we had in Slovenia! Friendly waiters! and pricing overall was really good

Beautiful appartment in Bohinj with friendly host! You have pretty much everything you need for a comfy stay. Fully equpped kitchen big plus!! Big terrace and a parking space. Restaurants on walking distance and slovenian culture evenings weekly in season few steps away.

Really beautiful place - a good position near lake Bohinj, restaurants and shops. Nice staff - they help us with a chose of right place to visit (when no top season here). We recommend this hotel. Delicious breakfast too.
