This is a beautiful hotel. Location is quite majestatically right on the promenade in the small harbour, reminding me of some grand hotel in an Fellini movie. Got a room with full frontal sea and graet harbour views. Everything top notch, all electronics working. Staff nice. Breakfast good.

Brand new, super clean and bright hotel. We booked it for two nights, and it is a great base for exploring the stunning Slovenian coast, as it also has a parking space included. The TV in the room was huge, a big plus if you want to relax with some shows in the evening. When we arrived, there was a mistake with migrating bookings' data between systems since the hotel switched them in the meantime of our booking and arrival (we booked three months early). As a result, we could not have the room for the first night due to full capacity. We would like to commend the professionalism of the front desk as they immediately arranged for us a room in a different hotel of a much higher class, in the old town right next to the marina. We were happy with this arrangement, and it was as pleasurable to stay the other night back in Capris as well. Thank you!

Super apartment! Good location, free parking outside, private entry and small table and possibility to eat outside. In the apartment you had all you can wish for and it was very cozy. Host was also super helpful and sent a lot of information before arrival about surrounding and Koper. Shop and bakery ca 3 minutes, supermarket 10minutes and beach ca 20 minutes walking distance. Be careful with door when eating or sitting outside- it locks when going out and do not leave keys inside like we did. Luckily host came quick with another set of keys and let us in :)

Very reasonable price for a stay with a view & super friendly staff. Room was comfortable & clean. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Beautiful uninterrupted sunset views from the winery atop the hill, a short walk away. Really appreciated the complimentary welcome wine too :)

Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and...

Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and well mapped walking trail. to wonder around, although parking is not free anywhere near the centre , which we hate, hate paying for parking and worrying about the time we need, time we have etc! Spoils your holiday but it's mostly the same all over Slovenia , I feel sorry for businesses as you have to take into account the extra if you just want to stop for a coffee and so decide not to!

A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable...

A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.

As a small historic town on what was an island once despite having a massive deep water port it is a very pleasant place but you can see it in a day unless you are staying for something more specific as a base (for the excellent wineries and countryside in my case).

Koper is a lovely town by the sea.

Koper is a lovely town by the sea. Although Koper has a huge port, tourists offer is also rich. Beautiful old town with famous buildings, University center, everything that you could possible need in many shops, restaurants, shopping malls. Kind people and beautiful, very well taken care of, nature, and close to other Slovenian nature parks. Road network is excellent and you can easily get anywhere you want.

As for the town of Koper, the old town is charming, you can see lots of investments in the town - there is a range of new sports facilities, modern but nicely matched with the old architecture. A nice place for a city break.

I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice...

I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice little places to eat. I wouldn't swim there though- very industrial and the sea appears quite polluted. If you are interested in snorkelling or swimming I would head down the coast further to the islands off Croatia. For more history, the bays in Italy like San Rocco outside of Trieste. I didn't like Piran at all- a pretty town but just a tourist disneyland

The room had an amazing wall of windows with a beautiful view over the old Koper town. The elevator was fast. There was also a useful large rack for drying towels and bading suits from the beach. Perfect for a night or 2.

Beautiful apartment in a very friendly and quiet area of Koper. Well equipped, clean and comfortable, it was perfect for the 2 of us. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this part of Slovenia.
